Ha ha. I just find it really worrisome that some people are taking it really seriously. It makes me lose faith in the rationality of humans. I was almost convinced that it was a myth when someone I knew confessed a belief in the Illuminati. I don't want to suffer that again!

Well... I dont think the world's gonna end, after all, there have been HEAPS of predictions...
have they all come true? infact have any of them come true?... No, not really.
Ahaha, sorry for my rambling, but in my opinion, it would be better off not telling anyone about it(about the world ending today), some people get seriously freaked out but others could care less...
So, if u honestly believe the world's gonna end, then go ahead and do something you've always wanted to do!
To be honest i dont wanna die either, but i dont think the world is gonna end, thats just over exaggerating...more like, something big will happen? an earthquake? a cyclone? something else?
well... thats all i wanna say

 Nahhh, I never believed that the world would end but my parents kinda did...I'm pretty sure they just wanted something interesting to happen in our mundane life.

This doesn't seem to be in the right section but meh.
People honestly are always looking for things to panic about. Those killer bees from Africa, H1N1, Y2K, just a couple years back there was that old decrepit guy claiming to be a prophet and who said the world would end in May. So a bunch of morons packed their bags to head for the wilderness. Really? Some supremacist cult leader you've never met or even heard of says so, and its gospel? People like gossip, people like being spooked. People like to entertain the idea of "what if?" And people are just freaking dumb. Not to say you shouldn't be prepared, but at least have some logic all throughout your strategy. That includes the reason why you're shoving can and freeze dried foods in a duffel bag. I don't want to talk down the Mayans but, if they could foresee the world ending, why couldn't they foresee the Spaniards? I'm sure that would have been more useful
