2013's combined 4th/5th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine is announcing on Wednesday that a new Hayate the Combat Butler television series has been green-lit for next spring on the TV Tokyo station.

Kenjirou Hata's original manga already inspired the first Hayate the Combat Butler television anime (2007-2008) and its Hayate the Combat Butler follow-up (2009). The Hayate the Combat Butler: Can't Take My Eyes Off You (Hayate no Gotoku! Can't Take My Eyes Off You) television anime followed this year, but tells a new story that is original to the anime and not directly based on existing material from Kenjirou Hata's original manga. However, Hata personally created the story concepts for this 2012 anime.

Crunchyroll has been streaming all three of the previous television series.
