I bet you want things where it starts which chars that dont have a hidden crush to the other char. But that pretty much takes everything out from the category someone posted. This is a hard one. Probably the only one i can think of is Deadman wonderland. its still ongoing and i dont think they will ever become a couple but they are the only best friends were no one had a hidden crush

If that's the case, try looking through Childhood friends + Friends become Lovers list? I'd assume most children don't become best friends with each other because of some ulterior motives.
