Most of their fights have been cakewalks so far. There's no tension for Rai and Franky. (Well Rai has his declining health.) But as of now the union has been a joke. Raise the stakes man! Have fights that aren't complete blow outs.
Also what are the basis of Tao's and Takeo's abilities? For example M21's is fronted by his werewolf heart. Or are Tao and Takeo's stuff just some human mutant offshoots/some different ancient race?
But that also brings up the lack of presence of the werewolves. When are they going to make their appearance? Or have they somehow been largely snuffed out?
And speaking of people that have been left out for a while, there's also Shinwoo and his group (specifically Shinwoo). I've been wondering if Shinwoo just a super athletic human or that his prowess is foreshadowing of some sort of lineage.
This sorta reminds me of how Claymore's going right now. Battles are great and all but they need to be a little more balanced with characterization and world/plot building.
You know guys, there's no way Shinwoo will become anything more than a human(unless he's kidnapped, which is very unlikely to succeed because of Frank and Rai), that's just poor speculation deemed to fail >_>
And yeah, I hope the elders they send are in fact the strongest ones because otherwise we've got the cliched sorting algorithm of evil (TVTropes warning) on our hands.

Too late. Frankensteins comment in chapter 257, "double digits should know their place", is pretty much a clear indication of the normal number based superiority, with Crombell being a bit of a Joker (Though his underling, Bonerre, did estimate that Crombell is still beneath the other elders in power.)
