Noblesse One of the best shonen manga out there. Dont let the starting turns you off...(Read it in one-strip format). Later on, every chapter ends with a cliffhanger. If epicness is your demand, then you will definately be addicted to it.

IMO you can't make a good story with just cliffhangers. it needs some time to build up tension.

the breaker
the breaker: new waves

maybe you like it. new waves has more cliffhangers I think but you don't understand it without reading the first part. don't let the MC irritate you in the first few chapters

Anything by URASAWA Naoki, author of 21st Century Boys, Billy Bat, and Monster. I'd say that he's the master of the mystery cliffhanger which you probably know, anyways.

Not really sure what genre you're looking for, but a great mangaka to check out in shoujo/josei is IKETANI Rikako, author of Six Half Bitou Lollipop and Futago. Cliffhangers in her stories mainly hinge on revelations about the main characters.

Death Note if you haven't read it. Avoid all spoilers, and the psychological warfare will hurtle you through every chapter.

Code Geass too, if you don't mind an anime. It's comparable to Death Note in terms of the psychological warfare.

Tower of God That's all. biggrin
