Member 1:42 am, Dec 27 2012 Posts: 76	I've been digging into non-romantic plots for a while (and I've been loving it, thanks everyone ), but I'm kind of missing it. Romance and I don't usually click though. Don't get me wrong I like romance; it's just the blacksheep of my fantasy world lately. Criteria: Genre 1) No shoujo ai, yuri, or yaoi 2) No ecchi or smut 3) No harem (unless it's really a love triangle with random hotties around) 4) Romance has to be main plot 5) No hardcore tragedy Characters 1) No overly blushy females 2) No cold or completely self-absorbed inconsiderate males 3) No playboys or playgirls 4) No easily melted facade/disguise 5) Each party possesses some degree of common sense 6) No incredibly passive male or females (slapping love interest or assaulter then withering underneath while blushing is NOT non-passive) 7) Good at everything characters? No thanks. 8) No easily manipulated MCs 9) Incredibly rare and optional---Neither character really expected love nor looked for it 10) No female tsunderes Relationship 1) Actual arguments! Hitting and/or yelling done by both parties 2) If hatred/dislike prior, must be mutual and for a good reason that isn't one of them being a rapist or mental scarring bully 3) Not abusive or unhealthy Nothing by Hwang-Mi Ri, Han Yu-Rang, or Shinjo Mayu Thanks so much for reading this! Novel is the best though (Also, its highly favoured by MU's romance god ) Blood Alone Romance/Supernatural (I believe romance is the main theme). Orange Marmalade Otoyomegatari Emma ------------ Recommended stuffs though might not fit some of your criteria. Too good to be ignored~ Melo Holic Tragedy. Hardcore? Judge that for yourself. Natsu no Zenjitsu Loves scenes but they are plot requirements. Dont worry its neither ecchi or smut. Honeymoon Salad Love scenes, but good. Actual arguments! Member 2:41 am, Dec 27 2012 Posts: 330	Maybe Reimei no Arcana, as far as I can semember it ticks all your boxes plus its a fantasy, which you seem to like. Another one could be The prince's cactus, he's a bit of an arrogant brat at first but its an interesting manga because of the female lead. Another one where the female lead wins is Akuma to love song.....though I can't really remember the main love interest fighting with the female mc, but there is a lot of conflict in this manga from a lot of different people. Lots of arguing and nasty things done and both the main two have their times of being bratty or caught up in the turmoil. Beauty pop-whole manga is basically the thawing process between these two male and female students that have hairdressing aspirations and conflicting backgrounds. Lots of arguments... I suppose you could say Skip beat! fits you're description....cause there is/has been arguments and conflict... Haou gakuen misoragumi has arguments and there is a good reason for it all, so thats another that fits, although the pairing isn't cemented yet...its just so funny, I advise~

It's pretty much what I look for in romance manga! haha Forced and shallow romances, and characters with no personalities can get pretty annoying at times!
