Being the degenerate I am, I'd probably waste a bunch on pachinko and cheap sake. Surprised that was in the listing. I missed it and just put down stuffing myself.

So true... I love buying CDs, so I was considering ordering Kalafina's entire repertoire, but I can buy a truckload of CDs here for the money a single one of their albums costs...

I'm disappointed school won. This is why so many manga/anime/VNs have the same boring setting. As an older folk I can hardly stand the school setting anymore.

I wish i could choose more than one option =(
if money wasn't an issue then I'd just tell every store I go to to have at least one of everything and get it sent the house I purchase =D. No need to waste time looking around. I can do it all in a few hours probably. (if i get something I don't want/need, I'll sell it on ebay)
1. buy ton of anime/manga merchandise
2. big purchases
3. department store goods
4. electronics at akihabara
Then for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I'll stuff myself with food =D (5)
Then I'll head off a maid cafe (6) just to see what it's like for some coffee or something.
Dinner at a matsuri (7) at night
spend the night at an onsen (8) =D
There, I could have 8 things done in those 24 hours!
If I have time, I'll go for the famous landmarks =D

How to visit a temple (I'm still into this poll a week later...)
Behave calmly and respectfully. Show your respect by making a short prayer in front of the sacred object. Do so by throwing a coin into the offering box, followed by a short prayer.
At some temples, visitors burn incense (osenko) in large incense burners. Purchase a bundle, light them, let them burn for a few seconds and then extinguish the flame by waving your hand rather than by blowing it out. Finally, put the incense into the incense burner and fan some smoke towards yourself as the smoke is believed to have healing power. For example, fan some smoke towards your shoulder if you have an injured shoulder.
When entering temple buildings, you may be required to take off your shoes. Leave your shoes on the shelves at the entrance or take them with you in plastic bags provided at some temples. Wear nice socks.
Traditionally, you are not supposed to visit a shrine if you are sick, have an open wound or are mourning because these are considered causes of impurity.
At the purification fountain near the shrine's entrance, take one of the ladles provided, fill it with fresh water and rinse both hands. Then transfer some water into your cupped hand, rinse your mouth and spit the water beside the fountain. You are not supposed to transfer the water directly from the ladle into your mouth or swallow the water. You will notice that quite a few visitors skip the mouth rinsing part or the purification ritual altogether.
At the offering hall, throw a coin into the offering box, bow deeply twice, clap your hands twice, bow deeply once more and pray for a few seconds. If there is some type of gong, use it before praying in order to get the kami's attention.
Photography is usually permitted at shrines. Watch for signs.

(It sounds hard. I see me starting a major structural/wildfire while trying to put out the incense by waving my hand. Perhaps one can just stay home in one's own country and get the kami's attention by ringing a bell while wearing nice socks. Me not setting Japan on fire will be of greater economic benefit to them than me making multiple offerings.)
P.S. Temples have smoke, shrines have water. A temple is Buddhist, a shrine is Shinto. Then it gets into messy discussion of whether the Emporer is a buddha. Personally, I think Shinto is more homey than Buddhism, but I'm a philosopher and accept all the useful bits.
