Nice/Shy guy gets the (not wimpy) girl

Most of the heroines in those mangas are A) wimpy -_- B) indecisive C) just plain stupid Or better yet, D) all of the above Please tell me mangas where the nice guy gets the not-wimpy girl (shoujo only, please). I just read The Kind Black Witch and even though it was a little freaky, Spoiler (mouse over to view) I mean, his head got cut off and everything >.< I loved it .
