Hello there! Glad to have finally joined this site, after years of just using it as one of the best resources a researcher could ask for!

I'm Maxy Barnard, a bit of a manga fanatic who, every saturday, spotlights a different part of Weekly Shonen Jump's grand ol' history, over at Friendship! Effort! Victory!. It's a quaint little podcast, with tiny episodes, but so far it's been pretty well received, and you might well like it. The latest episode's about Go Nagai's Mazinger Z, but I've also dealt with more globally recognised bits of history like Dragon Ball, YuYu Hakusho, and recent hit Assassination Classroom, so you get a nice variety of stuff.

Plugging over? Okay. I also like a lot of yuri and romance manga (I'd say shoujo ai, but man that has different connotations in Japan, so I'd steer clear of it), a big variety of music, and kisses on the mouth, which are in fact the reward you'll all get for having read this post. mwah.
