I'll admit, this poll from our member nowyat is a little weird. Since we just started a new year, I thought this suggestion was most relevant. Think of what your most important "first" for this year would be. Of course, the list is not exhaustive (there is at least 1 specific choice I purposely left out) and there is no "other" category or else we'd get like 90% there.

I guess the first, shall we say, "embrace", didn't make the list.
After running all the way down the list, the word "first" stopped meaning anything to me. I guess I'll go with first vacation - I haven't been on a proper holiday (overseas, interstate, whatever) in 12 years, and I want one this year.

If I had a job, I would have gone for paycheck, but alas, no, so I went for first day at school. First day back at uni is crucial to the project I've been working on prior to the holidays. Got lots to be doing.
