I had read the manga 2 years ago upto chapter 50 or so before deciding on dropping it and waiting for the manga to complete. What's surprising is the fact a shounen romance manga has gone on for so long.

So guys what do you think? Should I start reading it again if you all think its ending soon enough?

Im my opinion, I don't see it ending in the next 10 to 15 chapters.
But, I think in the next 50 chapters...so about an year max.

the story is advancing faster as compared to how it went on earlier. If the author keeps on going at this pace the manga will surely see an end this year, probably before half the year is complete.

Anyone want to guess how it's going to end? I see a random plot arc that just gets slapped on so they can end it.

it should have ended a long time ago. no actual plot, no conflict, and no reason to keep the story going.

And that's the reason I dropped it ages ago

it's turned into some random slice of life with one chapter long plots. as said earlier, should've ended long ago. i guess we will see some random drama sometime in the future, and then some sort of random happy ending.

Sometimes you have to step back a bit to see the big picture,i think that the manga its following a certain plot, wich is the main couple (and sometimes friends) getting step by step closer to their goals, wich for some characters its clearly stablished and for others not so much, and thats how life (Slice of Life?) its, each day you get closer to that goal that you set yourself on your mind.

I really think it will be ending soon. Mainly because the author has already started a new work. I think I'll pass on his new stuff. I've read everything he's put out so far and it's just the same kind of thing except with a different setting. Boy falls for girl. Girl really screws boy. Boy takes her back regardless and they live happily ever after.

In real life relationships, there are things that no matter how hard you try, you just can't get over. You can try, but they will always eat at you. I think what eba did in this manga is one of those things. It's something that would always be in the back of your mind.

There may be slight spoilers in the rest of my post.

I still not 100% why she broke up with Haruto in the first place. Was it because she felt bad for the sick guy and wanted to grant his dying wish, or was it because she was actually in love with the sick guy and he was her 1st choice. If the later is true, then why did she leave Tokyo in the first place and go live with Haruto. If she was really in love with the sick guy, she could of stayed home and never left to send the school year in the countryside. But according to Eba, she had been in love with Haruto since they were six years old and she seemed completely dedicated to him. I mean, she seemed to be crazy in love with him. However, when she finally moved back home, it was like every word she ever told Haruto was a lie. Her character just completely changed. Her character changed so quickly that it was unbelievable. In reality, the whole reason for her character change was so the author could introduce a conflict because up until this point, there really hadn't been one in the manga. I hate when a character makes an unbelievable change just in order to drive the plot. I think the author cold of introduced a more believable and realistic conflict. Any what about Eba's dad? The dad we met in the manga wasn't a dad that would let his daughter live in the countryside for a year. Anyway, the authors last manga had this same sort of thing going on. The female character would behave in ways in order to drive the plot one way or another. I just don't think the author is a very good writer and when this manga is over, I will stay away from anything new he puts out because all it does it frustrates me. The guys in his manga get's dumped on pretty bad and it never stops them from coming back for more.

I can't defend her dating that other dude being random(dying wish maybe). It makes me more sense with the flashback in a recent chapter but that's basically retconning. Well not really, but the audience had no real way of knowing why she felt she owed him in a believable way and that flashback should have happend in that arc. I think it helps that there is a period where they stay broken up for over a year, It was totally believable that they wouldn't want to date after befriending that guy after him just dying.

Still that's a small part of the manga overall. I think it has some small negatives currently but it's mostly really enjoyable like those two other people said, in a slice of life kind of way.

It could probably end any time really. I wouldn't like it if the very next chapter is the end though, hopefully there's some build but the foundation for it is already there.
