I'm Looking for a Manga with this type of Heroine

Member 10:11 pm, Jan 11 2013 Posts: 28	Hi So I'm looking for a heroine in a manga thats cold and heartless. Not an actual heartless person (like a demon), but like a person who doesn't forgive or wants to "save every body at the cost of my own loss" or whatever. I would like the manga to be a psychological thiller IF it could be done. Thriller is not like horror, horror scares to death while thriller keeps me on the edge of my chair wanting more. An example of this would be maybe like Liar Game (my current favourite) except without a heroine like Nao. However, I really like characters like Akiyama so that would be a bonus if that could happen. Lists of things i dont want are: -ecchi -smut -horror -gore-ish -harem -yaoi or yuri (hetrosexual romances are okay though) -an "I can help you all! I'll sacrifice myself for you! I want to save everyone!" heroine -a stupid heroine Wants and Bonuses: -manga like Liar Game -If manga has a male lead, the male lead should be smart (genuis smart) and cunning -psychological thiller (doesn't have to be though) -not boring?? -a shoujo? (doesn't have to be though) -nice art (if possible) Sorry for my pickyness and all It's hard to find mangas these days that fit my criteria of a good manga. Member 4:27 am, Jan 12 2013 Posts: 45	Since you mention Liar Game and Akiyama... One Outs. No heroine though, but it is a psychological (w/ baseball). The main character Tokuchi is a lot like Akiyama, evil looking yet brilliant, able to win with schemes.

Member 4:39 am, Jan 12 2013 Posts: 274	Dogs bullets and carnage I realise you said no gore, but this manga has the exact female lead and male lead that you're after~ so I had to recommend it because its so good, i mean yeah...it has fighting and violence and blood and stuff, but I wouldn't say its horror, some bits are borderline. Though I'd describe it as a thriller more than horror. Try out the 1 volume pilot first, Dogs then if you don't like the violence you won't have got far into it XD Hmm..Ludwig kakumei maybe...the heroine changes throughout the chapters but soe of them are ridiculously cold and the main male lead is a sort of strong/sees through things kind of guy... Jisatsutou-all the women are cold, as theres very few of them an they're suicidal...but despite its name its a thriller not a horror, its about learning to like life again, get past the first few chapters and it gets better Saver-main female lead is rather cold and expressionaless to a point, this is quite thriller-ish, mainly shoujo fantasy adventure story (oops, edit: second saver XD) Also a bit off topic but if you like Liar game, you'll probably like Kurosagi, has the same type of lead character and themes. I read it a long time ago so I can't really remember the female lead, though unfortunately I have a feeling she's like the lead in Liar game, not sure though.
