I'm looking for a manga that is told under the view of a character who is very strong emotionally (can be arrogant, calm, cold, doubtful, fearless or just an asshole), so strong and prideful that they'd hold onto their own strength until the end, where they eventually break down and starting pitying themselves but still don't really show it Ah I don't really mind any genre Thanks

That doesn't sound like "strong" to me.

@jedinat well you have to get tired of being strong at some point don't you?

No you don't. "Strong" doesn't, obviously, mean weakness. Which is what you're asking for, lol. Seems to me you just want a strong character who is overborne by their trials and breaks on some level in the end.

Being strong alone isn't a weakness, but being too strong to recognize your weaknesses, is a weakness itself.

I've been arguing semantics here if you hadn't noticed, lol. You can't be "too (emotionally) strong" to recognize your weaknesses. Because that's sort of like saying you're too good at recognizing your own weaknesses to recognize your own weaknesses... because that's what an emotionally strong person would be able to do, lol...

I thought an emotionally strong person is someone who keeps composure and not let other people get into their mind and change them? But I guess that's what being strong means to me, not you, apparently.

sounds to me like you are looking for someone wearing a strong maske in front of others and not someone who is actually strong. with the example you gave: someone who is strong doesn't give anything up by accepting help but for someone faking it for appearances that would seem like admitting not to be strong. hence the tendency to stubbornly cling to their mask.
edit: your last post: I think, too, that not letting your thoughts get affected by others randomly is an aspect of an emotionally strong person, but that wasn't what you asked for at first.
it isn't that extreme but rosario to vampire has it of some sorts. female main character. it takes a long time to be noticable and gets more obvious in the second season

The first one that comes to mind is Berserk, there are moments when despite being an emotionally strong character, he realises that he tried to move on too fast/was too stoic/inconsiderate to those around him. So he regrets his choices and personality of that time and breaks down. Though he does generally have a stoic/macho until it gets too much/he's alone then he breaks down personality. Though he doesn't break down in crisises and to most people he never shows that side to him.
That and maybe Shut hell...though she doesn't really have a massive breakdown and its more fear/reflection on her actions but its still a similar sort of emotional state as Guts in Bereserk. The sort of scarred heart pushed into a frenzied killing machine that doesn't let people in, but the scars are still there so the emotional state is rather precarious at times.
Thats the best fits to your request I could remember, hope they hit the mark.
