I just recently got a mobile phone which uses android and thought about this question. Did you ever thought about making an app? I was curious, because then it would be much easier to check thing on your mobile phone.
And btw easier. Every thought about a signal to let the person know if someone comment on a topic you did? Like I get a signal or message if someone comment on this topic
I was just curious and it's would be much to do since I did something similiar but I just wanted to ask

Second, why? I honestly don't understand everyone's obsession with phone apps for websites when our phones have fully functional web browsers. My phone accesses this website just fine with no noticeable loss in functionality without an app, so I imagine it's the same story with other smart phones. And if I REALLY want a slick B-U icon on my phone, I can make one with a simple bookmark.
My vote goes to making a mobile version of this site, if anything. Not that I particularly care to have one, but if something to that effect must be done, it might as well be semi-universal (IE not for iOS only).
It'd also be lower maintenance for when Apple releases another iOS and makes all your apps bug out.
I don't know, I mean with all the information and all, I prefer to read it with a larger screen instead of the tiny screen of the smartphone. It works faster with computer and laptop anyway. It's fine to have an apps, but is it really worth it? Since it's unlikely that the majority would use it often.

First: So it wouldn't help me. since I don't have an iphone and want one. but never mind.
Second, because if it's an app it's easier to use. An dno i am not obsessed with phone apps -.- using an browser is different. you have to zoom and stuff, but if it's made for phone it would be put in shape for it and going to my list for example with one click without scrolling and zooming so your finger can touch the icon -.- i just wanted to know because it's much more comfortable. As a person who studies Computer science I see the difference, so sorry for seeing the difference -.-
And last but not least I don't care if I have an icon on my phone which is acess to this side. Just want it more comfortable

The author of the thread I provided said he's also making an android app. I honestly didn't know that either when I posted it, so lets revel in both of our collective ignorance.
Nah, I never said I don't see the difference, but at the same time, I understand my post could be taken that way. It's more like my experience with apps for navigating websites hardly ever work as well or are heavily restricted in what you can do as opposed to going to the website using your phone's browser. (unofficial gamefaqs app, anyone?) I never thought of zooming as a burden, either. Then again, I do notice how my friends or parents fumble with it or hold the phone weird when tring to do things, so maybe I just adapt better.
I think the only useful app I have that I never felt was restricting what I can see or do is the Amazon app. The password function seems to be broken on it though... but now I'm getting off-topic.
