I'm a sucker for art, and yaoi manga artist tends to have much better skill in drawings than the others, or at least I like their styles more. Sometimes even the plots are also usually deeper and more meaningful. So as I was saying, I'm looking for heterosexual romance manga drawn by artist who usually draw yaoi manga.
E.g. Mizutama Puzzle Tamago no Hi Tamashizume
Thank you beforehand.

I remembered instantly of Kakumei no Hi by Zaou Taishi and Seikimatsu Prime Minister by Eiki Eiki. Those are the two non-yaoi manga by them that are more about romance. Mizushiro Setona also have some, but I think the one that will interest you the most is Shitsuren Chocolatier. Maybe something by Yumeka Sumomo will interest you as well, since her stories have a realistic feel and a very beautiful art. She worked more with shounen ai, though,
Even if it isn't exactly what you asket, Shimura Takako (the author of Hourou Musuko) isn't an "yaoi artist", but she has a very nice work called Dounika Naru Hibi in which she portraits different love stories and some of them have straight couples. It's a nice and mature portrait, with her simple but beautiful artwork.
I remember that many yaoi mangaka started with shoujo or josei stories, but I can't remember any other now... >_<

That's funny. When I read a shoujo from a yaoi author, I tend to slash the male characters together, or gender bend the female (Tamago no Hi). But these might work for you.
Higuri You (Gorgeous Carat) does some straight romance. Personally I don't find the stories as interesting as her yaoi ones.
Nakamura Asumiko has a very atypical art style that I enjoy. But her non-yaoi stories are short. Great and thought provoking though.
[a]Duo Brand[/a] has at least one shoujo story. Cross x Break looked promising, but the english publisher folded before finishing it.
Tateno Makoto fits the category best. She has a lot of both yaoi, and non-yaoi stories.
Almost forgot, Hoshino Lily has written a few shoujo stories. (But since her ukes tend to look like girls anyway, it's not much of a stretch.) One manga, Otome Youkai Zakuro was turned into an anime. This one I like as a straight romance, I enjoy the side romances even better.
Hope this helps

Seconding Yumeka Sumomo. Does Fujoshi Kanojo counts as heterosexual romance? Hoshino Lily now does josei/romance mangas, like Yumemiru Koto. Yoshinaga Fumi Hagio Moto too, she has some shounen-ai works, but her "heterosexual romances" are great too. MAMAHARA Ellie, I don't like her art style, tho. KISARAGI Hirotaka YAMAMOTO Kotetsuko did Sugiru Juunana no Haru art. OHYA Kazumi SADAHIRO Mika TAKARAI Rihito (Seven Days art mangaka) did Torikagosou no Kyou mo Nemutai Juunintachi art. TATENO Makoto KUNIEDA Saika HASUMI Toui MIZUSHIRO Setona
Editing, because...
Quote from fvvjy YES, EST EM AND TOMOKO. How could I forget them? Perfect art.

Thanks for the suggestions XD
I've read almost all the works by Mizushiro Setona and Yumeka Sumomo as well as Kakumei no Hi Seikimatsu Prime Minister was entertaining to some extend, predictable though. I'll read Dounika Naru Hibi next.
Quote from Ballador Try Sekirei, it's a manga by mangaka GOKURAKUIN Sakurako.who has several yaoi titles. it's straight Harem und ecchi together have never been my preference but I'll try to convince myself to check it out.

I love them and their works!! How could I forget these two! Thanks for reminding me. Don't Cry, Girl and Udon no Onna are wonderful mangas. The yaoi manga from the both of them are fantastic too.

As for Yoshinaga Fumi, please, how can I miss such a masterpiece like Oooku Didn't know Ohya Kazumi draws yaoi. MAMAHARA Ellie has Sweet Blood, not really good though. I can't find any heterosexual romance by [/m]KISARAGI Hirotaka[m] Will check out HAGIO Moto and HASUMI Toui I have already known the rest. Thanks for the great effort making the suggestion list ^ ^
