I'm looking for an old seri. My friend said he first read it about 10 years ago.
The story is about a boy (or male I don't know age) who go to buy video games. Then there are 2 girls show up and give him a robot-kind game for free.
When the boy is playing that game, he was... hm... transported to the game's world (robot world).
Last scene my friend still remember is the 3 of them are in the line of dead.

He told me that THE GUY was moved to the robot world and had some fight there. The last detail my friend had in mind is THE GUY and 2 comrades (girls) were in a dangerous situation after losing a fight, but it's not the ending, of course

Is it really robots? I did a search and there's this manga thats very similar to what your looking for, its got two girls and a guy as main (from what I can tell without setting out to read it in full) and the guy mysteriously acquires the game which he plays and is sucked into the virtual world....Though there doesn't seem to be robots...there are game characters which are like npc's I suppose. The characters and style is more fantasy based though. Also it was started exactly 10 years ago XD
