I didn't either, but it also explains pretty well Sasuke's irrationality. Although adds more to why I don't appreciate his character even more. But it's good to see all this from the Hokages Harashima and Tobirama are pretty interesting dudes. And from the looks of all the Kages we've been shown, it's safe to say the ones that hold the Kage title are really eccentric people. I'm still wondering if there has been one that wasn't really off their rocker... lol

Yeah, he is eccentric enough for it so his qualifications on that part are fulfilled, although he has a ton of peers that are just as loopy as him.

Yeah, I can't blame him on that part, but then again if emoness was a trait to be born with, how the heck did Itachi manage to avoid falling into that kind of trap? I'm guessing he's a mutant of his clan...? lol

This was a very interesting chapter. Who knew the 1st Hokage was that hilarious despite his appearance. Spoiler (mouse over to view) We also learn he was the reason for Tsunade's bad habits. There must be something big planned for the next chapter.

jrdragon2003- I was being sarcastic hahaha, make fun of him all you guys want.
As for the 1st, as much as I kinda appreciate the comedy. I don't like the changing of atmosphere and mixing up the mood. Kinda like when Neji die, and then we got all other corny moments right away. >____<

Wait so because the Uchiha had to much love that their emotions get twisted along the way birthing an overpowered eye which gets stronger the further their emotions get twisted? Man the Uchiha clan must had been really lovely people that ended up hating to much -_- tbh that is the most dumbest thing I have read in a while. Though the first hokage part was interesting.

Predisposed to be insane..... for some reason still I can feel sorry for Obito but not Sasuke. I guess the hate is too strong. I guess it really boils down to his actions before the Sasuke retrieval arc in part 1 and after.
On another note, the Shodaime was awesome! Totally the embodiment of what Naruto can be in the future. (I guess I'm the only one that never found Naruto annoying either way)
We basically already knew the information in this chapter. Strong feelings or "love" evolves the Uchiha. Being butthurt fuels their power. Their emotions do more for them than it does the Senju. It's no wonder Obito was driven insane at the sight of his love being killed before his very eyes.
Maybe a normal person wouldn't decide to resort to remaking the world the way they want it, but he's an Uchiha, their brain is meant to go insane from caring about anything.

So it boils down to the Uchiha being defective merchandise...?
C'mon Kishi first you make the Uchiha the most powerful clan with ridiculously powerful doujutsu and then you drag em' into the dirt by labelling them as cursed freaks that can't control their emotions

I was thinking that too. That must be why Tobi made a big deal about seeing the Senju in Naruto.
And, to me anyways, Naruto is only annoying insofar as being really loud and talking through a battle kinda defeats the purpose of being a ninja, who are by definition silent killers.
It's good to see some character development again.
EDIT: On a sarcastic note, speaking of "can't control emotions," is Naruto going to awaken the sharingan soon? Well, I guess if it hasn't happened yet, it's not going to.

Well I guess it is because of the sons of the sage of the six paths developing their own traits, but by genes the senju bloodline should actually be capable of awakening sharingan...but that would be stupid. On the ninja note.....they haven't really been acting like ninja for a long time except when travelling. I mean all their techniques and fighting styles are bloody flashy, large scale and loud.....I thought ninjas were supposed to hide in the shadows, assassinate and steal information and more revolving around darkness and shiz. The only mention of information stealing we get is from the chuunin exam....from then on it kinda disappeared, the only ninja I can remember actually being most ninjalike in Naruto has to be Orochimaru, the guy is sneaky, assassinates peoples and steals.
