I'm only talking about the games that give you the option.

Depends on the game. I use a controller for racing games and such, but the grand majority of the time I'm a keyboard and mouse user. I do play strategic games most of the time anyways so it's an obvious choice.

Usually mouse and keyboard. I don't have a proper controller to use with my computer even if I wanted to.

Love your Elizabeth images LawX Ooohh Elizabeth <3
To go back to topic... I don't play games as much as I used to, for PC games like online games...I would use a keyboard and mouse. I use a USB controller for emulated games, while not strictly PC games they are games played on a PC.

If the Option is there. i always opt for Controller. Especially recent games. Just finished playing Tomb Raider with a controller. Cause IMO playing games with controller offers much better immersion. and with the added challenge of playing an FPS with a controller

Keyboard and mouse, especially since I tend to play mmorpgs. Usually have to make use of many commands that'll require keys.

Really depends on the game. In Binding of Isaac, I don't use the controller. Beat Hazard, I use a controller.
It really just depends on if the game implements controller well enough for me.

Controller. It's just more fun , although for certain games using the mouse and keyboard is way better.

Keyboard/mouse/microphone. I find keyboard/mouse in isolation to have too few accessible keys to bind for shortcuts, as many games don't properly support multi-key binds. The headset allows voice commands for an infinite amount of additional hotkeys.
Can't wait for the Leap Motion/Oculus Rift to come out. That duo will likely be my new control setup for any RPG. Probably FPS too. Not sure about strategy. Depends on how accurate the selection and movement is.
Never controller unless playing an emulator/one of my actual systems. Every other game worth its salt tends to have too many abilities to map for quick access on a standard controller.

Steelseries 6Gv2 and Razer Lachesis 5600 DPI. I mostly just play Dota 2 and I can't fathom how anyone could make that work with a controller. How would anyone control multiple units effectively or even one? I am not really interested in fighting or sport games, so sticks and controllers are hardly needed. I sometimes used to play PS2 games on PC and then I would use my PS3 controller, but I don't really do that nowadays. I honestly don't play games. I just play a game, which is Dota.
