In my opinion, both the op/ed are important, but if I look at it realistically the op is slightly more significant. Whichever anime we watch it starts out with the op and sets the mood for the show to come.

This is manga/anime forum so it makes more than enough sense to know opinions on everything related to them.
And well this poll is good enough as it helps you to know the views people hold towards anime opending/endings. Instead of bashing the poll why don't you try to look at the bright side? Many people don't care to watch openings/endings so you can tell them how wrong/right they are. You can share the examples where openings are good and vice-versa.
On topic: I generally don't like the endings so obviously my vote would be for openings.

I have no idea. I tend to download anime related songs without ever even watching said anime. The opening songs tend to be more upbeat, while the ending ones are more nostalgic and melancholy. That's only based on the few anime I've watched. The ending songs tend to evoke more emotion from me, while the openings are really fun. I can't decide... ._.

Out of all the anime I've watched so far, there are:
7 where I always watch the OP and ED 15 where I always watch the OP 21 where I skip both
I also know a lot more songs than I've watched anime, since I play a lot of Osu! and those are often very well made beatmaps.

Normally I like more openings though there are a lot of good ending songs there. Lately I'am listening more to endings. Carnival phantasm ed, kingdom first and last ed, binbougami op, shakugan no shana and index's, gundam age's, jojo's,... I use to know them first by the anime and when looking for full versions I start to know the singers behind.

Quote from MinM66 I'm just saying, they could have at least given the option for both... -_-
No, you didn't. In fact, you said something rather silly.
Quote from MinM66 The pole makes no sense... "Which do you tend to like more" ... Uh whichever has the better song? .. really terrible poll -_- I look forward to these, and I am fully disappointed this time... Quote from MinM66 The pole makes no sense... Quote from MinM66 pole
YEAH! This LONG, cylindrical, and often slender piece of wood or metal, MAKES NO CENTS!
Kidding aside, I regret to inform you that an option for 'both' is KNOT a preference.
Quote from The PULL For anime series, you tend to like which more?
Openings Endings >Both
Oh, you like BOTH more??
...WAT??
Tee-hee! Huh...? Oh, come on! I'm joking; don't cry! My understanding is SAINTLY. SAINTLY! I knew that what you meant to say was that you wish there was a "I have no preference" option! Really!
*cough*whichIreallytaketomeanthatyoujustneverthoughtaboutit*co ugh*
Hm...? That was a cough! Quit finding meaning in my bodily functions! That's weird, and maybe a little perverted...

I don't really know, I clicked ending because the only song that came to my mind right away was an ending theme...
Ben-To Ending sounds so chilled so nice
And really tend to like the ending more, but that's probably because I don't have watched enough anime to tell... Ah, I really can't tell, that's not something that I do analyze. I like a song or not and that's it. There sure are some great anime songs out there!
Edit: Just read this:
Quote from NightSwan The opening songs tend to be more upbeat, while the ending ones are more nostalgic and melancholy. So that might be it, why I like endings more if I even do... I gotta watch more anime...
Haha, anyway it's not like the world is going to end if my favorite poll option wasn't there and I had to click something else or nothing

not really a fan of either unless it has nice music and in this case i thought OP overall for me had the best music and i guess that might kinda pump you up to watch it or something like that

I have to question how well put the question was. I mean, sure, the ending and opening matter but let's be honest, you watch the anime for the actual show so obviously, you tend to like that the best. Which isn't one of the options. I mean, are you gonna watch the anime for the opening or ending only?

Generally just skip over the openings and endings, but on occasion a series has an interesting song and I find the majority of those are openings. Endings tend to be rather slow in tempo and frankly depressing in tone.
