Member 5:44 pm, Feb 21 2013 Posts: 17	If we treat both equally as good, there is more bias towards OPs. Let's say half the people skip the OP, those who do, will probably skip the ED as well. The other half who watch the OP for various reasons (because it's only a mere 1minute long, it's catchy, at least once, etc) don't HAVE to watch the ED, like how some people leave a movie theatre without finishing the ending credits. Numerically, EDs are already at a disadvantage. And well, as most have mentioned, it really depends on the song...

There are times where I like both OPs and EDs. Sometimes, ED is better than the OP, and other times, the OP is better than the ED. Although I don't watch much anime compared to reading manga, I LOVE watching anime OP and ED. Sometimes, I end up checking out almost all the new anime season's OP and ED at least once just for fun. I actually love OPs and EDs equally, but tend to watch OPs more often since they tend to be more 'action-y', whereas EDs tend to be more 'slow.' I have a crappy memory so these are just some of my favourites off the top of my head: Animation and Song-wise: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya OP1 'Bouken Desho Desho?' and ED1 'Hare Hare Yukai/Full' (Yes, I'm biased lol xd) Lucky Star OP 'Motteke! Sailor Fuku' (I just can't resist dance OP/EDs haha) Bakemonogatari ED 'Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari' (Because it's Supercell <3) OreImo OP 'Irony/True End' (I just love the animation and also when I became a fan of ClariS ;D) Maria†Holic ED1 'Kimi Ni Mune Kyun' (Because SHAFT always makes the most creative and unique OP/EDs xD) Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru OP 'DOWN TOWN' (You have to turn up the volume a bit for this, but also by SHAFT) ef: a tale of memories OP 'euphoric field' and ef: a tale of melodies OP 'ebullient future' (I just love the use and choice of art) Guilty Crown OP1 'My Dearest' and OP2 'The Everlasting Guilty Crown' (Despite what everybody said about the actual series' story, the animation and music is still top-notch IMO) Rozen Maiden Traumend OP 'Sei Shojo Ryoiki' (I just can't resist gothic lolita stuff~) Eureka 7 OP3 'Taiyou no Mannaka he' (Not actually my favourite E7 OP since all of them all good, but probably the one with the most touching story?) and OP4 'Sakura' Moyashimon OP 'Curriculum' (So much cuteness! x3) Macross Frontier OP2 'Lion' (I actually love anytime Ranka and Sheryl do duets~) and OP special 'Seikan Hikou' (Kira~ Too cute <3) CLANNAD ED1 'Dango Daikazoku' (Also too much cuteness, but I actually like the guitar version better) K-ON! OP 'Cagayake! GIRLS' and ED 'Don't say ''lazy''' (Truth be told, I don't really them music-wise, but I liked the animation) Nichijou OP 'Hyadain no Kakakata kataomoi-C (I actually only found this through a Madoka Magica parody lol) Paprika OP 'Mediational Field' (Love both the music and animation! ;d) Song-wise Only: Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino OP 'Tatta Hitotsu no Omoi' (Reason I became a fan of KOKIA <3) Shakugan no Shana OP1 'Hishoku no Sora' Kami-sama no Memo-cho OP 'Kawaru Mirai' (Gotta love Choucho's voice! One of my favourite utaites! xD) BTOOOM! OP 'No Pain, No Game' (Another one of my favourite utaites, I just love her English~) Binbougami ga! OP 'Make My Day' (One of my favourite genderbending utaites! Could you believe this was sung by a guy? xd) Also, just for nostalgia's sake (Wow, this ended up way longer than I planned.
