This manga had unusually high ratings for a new shoujo, I followed it for a bit and then it stopped. It's a shame, really, or maybe it's for the best.

I thought this manga was interesting. I really wanted to see how it went. I really wish that when writers quite writing a manga, at the very least, they would write up a couple of pages to summarize what happens in the end. I hear people say all the time on various forums that the authors don't owe you anything, but I feel differently. I feel the the authors do owe something to the the fans who paid their hard earned money to buy the book versions and the monthly magazines. I believe she owes the people who's been supporting her work some kind of conclusion to the story. If it wasn't for the fans who buy the books, the artists would be unemployed. Therefore, I believe strongly they should do a final chapter, or like I already said, just a summary of how the story ends up.

I bought all the English volumes of NANA. Overall, I spent hundreds of dollars. A stack of books containing an unfinished story. It was sort of left at a cliffhanger at that. I understood she had to go on hiatus. But that was a long time ago and since then she has recovered and even switched careers. She made a lot of money off Nana. It sold millions of copies. Not too mention a live action movies and 50 episodes of Anime. Her fans made her rich many times over and she screwed them all.

Anyway, that's my feelings on the matter. I just feel strongly on the matter.

ATTENTION! BREAKING NEWS!
Takano Ichigo is not quitting Orange! It will be resumed on another publisher. That's right, Orange will now return on January 2014 in the new magazine, Gekkan Action, of the publisher Futabasha. The manga will leave Shueisha - which was published in Betsuma - and go to the new home of the author, where she began a new series in October called Re Collection. Orange will have its tenth and unprecedented chapter published on April 2014 (which will be released there on February 25) and will be published in an "alternating" with Re Collection. Orange will also get a special chapter to "remember" the previous events.

Oh cool, I just started reading Orange and reading the first posts I was like "omg, noooooooo!", but now I'm happy she is going to continue with Orange... I hope she can deal with the pressure, because the story she created is really good.

errrr... I'm pretty sure Ai yazawa hasn't given up to write NANA. She's just sick, and even if the serie has been on hiatus for a loooong time now, she's willing to finish it when she has totally recovered. Well that's what they say almost everywhere on internet.

Well, I'm glad that she is back and re-energized (I hope). Still waiting for chapter 10 though... Does anyone know if it actually came out in the magazine on the 25th like it was supposed to?

Perhaps she was fired from the manga magazine due to her not keeping her deadlines... Her new series btw is great; re:collection.

Chapter 10 is on Crunchyroll, so yes, it came out.
