Hero & Reluctant Sidekick

Member 4:50 pm, Feb 18 2013 Posts: 197	What I'm looking for is something with a hero of some kind (in the broad sense of the term, they don't necessarily need to want to save the world or defeat evil or anything, but that could be a plus..) who drags a reluctant sidekick along for for their misadventures. The sidekick can be the actual hero of it, or be useless and require saving.. The hero can be helpful, or incompetent.. Heck, the "hero" can even be a villain trying to take over the world. I guess it's more of a buddy comedy with one reluctant party/person I'm looking for? I'd love for it to have comedy, action and adventure is a plus but not needed... Honestly, as long as there's a plot, and a few volumes out for me to read I'll be happy finding anything like this.. I'm okay with pretty much anything, although I'd prefer a warning if it's yaoi or yuri. Manga, manwhu, manhua, and light novels are fine. No animes though, since atm I can't watch any.. Don't ask. Er.. Right, I think that's it. =x Sorry this is a mess, but I feel horrible right now.. No enough sleep. I'm a shoujo fan so here,, himegimi to Sanbiki no kemono (adventure+ Comedy+ romance) Akatsuki no Yona (adventure+ Comedy+ romance) Trinity Blood (adventure+ action+ mystery(?)+ comedy) The hell king is bored (comedy .. but doesnt really have a plot.. fits the 'hero' and reluctant side kick) Sable Prince (adventure + action).. not really funny ________________ I HATE MODS Cause They reply in a RUDE way when u ASK sumthng! *I've talked to ONLY FEW mods who r really nice They USE their supperiority as MODS to be sarcastic to the mmbrs. Obvious stupidity of a member r always takn seriously by them. Lastly, i cant think of any than them being RUDE again. Really, i'm A very patient Person but they r get'n on my nerves. I might even get warning for doing this. NO I DIDNT READ THE RULES. Btw dont get ur heads hot, well not yet cause MODS means My OlDer Sisters. And i made them as my signture cause I HATE MODS ;-p

Action, adventure and some comedy. Kaede Taifuu-Not really adventure but is action and comedy. Reluctant main character. In Devil survivor the mc's are very reluctant at first...dragged into it by a friend. You could say one of the characters in Karneval was reluctant...

He forces the main girl who is reluctant to become a detective and while he solves the mysteries, he acts like her assistant in the eye of the public in order to hide his true nature.

Devil Summoner Member 11:08 pm, Mar 21 2013 Posts: 49	i second Devil Survivor ~~!! maybe you can check Devil Survivor 2 - The Animation too~ it's quite similar in term hero and the reluctant sidekick.......... the sidekick is really, really reluctant that almost annoying.
