The April issue of Hakusensha's LaLa magazine announced on Saturday that Matsuri Hino will end her Vampire Knight manga in the July issue on May 24. The series revolves around Yuki, a high school girl whose unique school features a "day class" of normal kids and a "night class" of vampires. She works with her adopted father and headmaster to prove that vampires can coexist with humans peacefully, but the school — and the vampires — hide many secrets.

thank God! I was confused to the point of no return laugh I dropped the series after Yuki started to live with Kaname and Zero became so emo... please let Yuki with Kaname since they meant to be together. If the ending is at least this decent, I may read it again. This time, I can read and reread and reread to understand what's in there. As for reading it now is a bit too confusing. One chapter doesn't seem to bridge with the other dead

So i will only read the remaining 3 chapters for the sake of incrementing my completed list.
Matsuri really knows how to play with the readers.

Finally. I just want to know if Yuuki dies. I just hate her so much now. The main thing I want to find out is what happens to Zero. I feel sorry for the sexy dude.

Well that's a good news... I long dropped the manga, but I'll definitely read how it would end.

Same here. I will only celebrate if she dies, and Zero has the happy ending. Yuuki can burn in hell with Kaname... and Matsuri-san.

Quit having so much hate for the manga-ka, I am sure that some of the plot "twists" were the result of her editor and not herself. Tbh this series should've ended a long, long time ago because some of the chapters belonged to the muddy waters and were so messed up no one knew what to say of it. I am just really glad the series is finally coming to an end - and we will all read the remaining chapters and say, "Well that was an okay manga, but I'm going to move on with my life. "

Finally! This manga should have ended like... 5 years ago.

I hope Matsuri has learned from writing Vampire Knight. Hopefully her next series is an improvement because her art is really nice! She can draw. Maybe someone else can write the storylines.

finally its ending! never thought that I would wish for manga to end...but dammit, its too confusing...the art is just...ugh...ANNOYING, whenever there is a fight scene, I just cant tell what the hell is happening...at one point i was: what the heck, are those butterflies?!?!
mangaka needs to...either find a good editor, or just keep it short in the future...but please...just dont butcher it anymore! maaan dead

I just hope Kaname stop being stubborn and accept Yuuki already. I can understand him getting a trauma from being betrayed and his first love dying for his experiment... but seriously, get over it already. If you tell me after all this time, he's gonna die and Yuuki ended up just like he planned and paired up with Zero... I'll work hard on suppressing the urge to smash my comp.

But I really don't see why all the criticize. Pretty decent shoujo in my opinion. Not the best manga out there and not the easiest to follow, but has pretty art and bishies to get attached to. *shrug* I don't see too much else to seek in shoujos.

Same. I love her art, it's so pretty and nice, but her storylines are really poor... I hope the next series is nice, I quite liked MeruPuri, so I would give a second chance to a new series.
