- Flamingo has mera mera fruit (Ace's Power)
- New Admiral
- Kid's Alliance also targeting Yonkou
- Jinbe's Appearance
How did Flamingo get mera mera fruit? I thought that logia type are one of a kind or maybe it will bear fruit again when the user is dead. I I know that Vegapunk created Zoan type artificial fruits but not logia type (that would be so stupid).
Wonder what ODA will do with it, Luffy's new power? Afterall Blackbeard now has multiple powers so maybe.

Well seeing as how Doflamingo has been creating artificial fruits, I don't see why he would not be able to make a knock-off mera-mera fruit.
My question is, does anyone think it's possible that luffy could eat the mera mera fruit and have two powers like Teach? Throughout the series, it has always been said that someone will the middle name of "D" had something special going for them. Maybe it has something to do with why teach could grab two powers...
The only reason I'm speculating is due to the cover page of 699.
Possible Foreshadowing?

I think that is mostly just a showcase of the technique he showed in fishman arc, seems like Bonny managed to escape and Buggy.....I knew he became a shichibukai lol.

I guess we all knew about Buggy. But who is the seventh one?
Ace's power is definately cool and it would be interesting if Luffy got his power.

I think you mean that Ace's power is definitely hot.

It was stated in supplementary material that when a fruit user dies, the power comes up for grabs again. It was demonstrated when Smiley died.

I wanna add my two cents. BlackBeard is also round up powerful devil fruit users. Since most of his followers may not be devil fruit users, themselves. I am not sure whether he kill these folks to obtain fruits for his followers. Or that he can hold more than 2 fruits.

Well I'm hoping it's going by a limit of 2 per user, cause that's a lot of fruits to put into one being. I'm not stating it as a sense of overpowering someone, but as a standpoint of practicality of what Oda is writing. It might lead to being to much in terms of design for a character and too much detail to put into him.
But I'm still shocked that this turn of events happened to have popped up. Honestly I can't see this working in Donflamingo's favor at all, it might just serve to only enrage Luffy, with the fact that the guy who aided in his brother's demise has his DF. And let's say he does end up recieving the fruit, is he gonna use it for himself or pass it on to one of his crew?

It was stated around the Marine HQ arc that Teach had a special body that allowed him to get White Beard's power and not because he was a "D". Also, I think somebody mentioned in passing that he was a fake "D" as well.
On a side note, I kinda felt bad for Law for having to put up with Strawhats' usual antics. XP

I always thought that this was because of how Teach logia fruit works, his power is so much like smoker but with absorbing ability.
I really don't see how ODA can improved Luffy's abilities to the next step so having the mera mera fruit is definitely a possibility.

^^ will not be the most pleasant smell. No sirreee, but giving him a new DF would altar his image a bit to much.
Instead..... more Crew members would be alot better

This is ODA, he can make anything happen. With Haki, i think its possible just like the Cover in Chapter 699 that Calibre pointed out. It's not gonna be his primary ability but like with haki, he can add fire to his punch and such. Gatling gun literally?
