How can anybody hate Hentai? They're truly work of art impo. There's plenty of good stuff out there that cater to your fetishes.
That said, anyone who read Hentai expecting a deep plot or interesting characters or maybe good character development are freaking stupid. Sometimes they might have a semblance of either of those, but they are few and far between. Seriously, the only reason to read them is for the amazingly detailed art of females or perhaps you want to see characters that you like naked and doing naughty things (h-doujinshi). 
Hentai is Porn, they're meant to be fap and drool over to.  They're not meant to be taken seriously, it's therefore very unfair comparing them to normal manga.

And so, if I see the numbers like they are now, I would say it has some homophobic feeling to it.
How can people chose anyway? I don't think that everyone has read at least five of each demographic, then how can you chose an option?
I would prefer a better chose of words for the manga poll question, the word 'hate' might invoke discriminating ideas.
Wel, I don not like fluffy manga ( manga with more flowers than people, that fluffy stuff). It's difficult to categorize this in a demographic content.

This poll will go this way:
- heterosexual (not necessarily homophobic) males/females will vote for yaoi/yuri
- people who consider themselves readers/intellectuals will vote for hentai
- the rest will vote for what they actually hate

erm..I think you've got it a little mixed up.
It currently stands at
Shoujo - 8.3%
Shounen - 3.1%
Seinen - 2.8%
Josei - 3%
Shoujo-ai - 2.1%
Shounen-ai -4.8%
Yaoi - 44.3%
Yuri - 11.2%
Hentai - 20.3%

I agree with what was said here, its hard and unfair for people to choose without getting to at least know the demographic well enough to hate it. 'Hate' is too strong a word for something that you are not well aware of. i.e. I can say that I've read at least 5 of each of these demographic(with the exception of Shoujo ai and Yuri), and although I avoid Yuri, I didn't vote for it just because I avoided it.

I would have picked Kodomo manga, but there is not that option...
I don't really hate any, so picking a "the most hated" proves a bit difficult. If I was asked some years ago I would have gone with yaoi or with josei. I found yaoi unappetizing and josei was just uninteresting, though I've pretty much read a bit of everything at least. There are great manga in every demographic..
I'll go with josei, for being normally weaker (though I know at least one good josei...). Why would you want Josei when you have epic and wonderful shounen seinen?

I went for Yaoi, but only because that's only type of demographic I will never, ever read.
I avoid Shounen Ai, but I have read manga with subtle hints in it before. I'm not a fan, but I don't mind it very very mild, so I thought I'd choose it's worse counterpart which I know I'll avoid like the plague.
I don't read much Josei, but I'd still give it a shot if I found it interesting enough, and I don't mind reading everything else. Yuri is probably one of my fav demographics 
Yaoi is just something I wont read. Ever.

Hentai. I do read it once in a while but that's the one I hate the most on the list.
After hentai, I'm thinking it would either be Yuri (tolerable enough I guess) or Shounen (dislike most of them).

I chose Hentai though for me that involves Yuri, Shoujo ai, Shounen ai and Yaoi as well. I really can't stand those.

I would have picked shota/loli-con but as there is no such option... hmm..
I can't really say I HATE any of them, some things just hold no interest for me.

Pretty bad poll seeing as there's a lot of good in every demographic.
Also, I am really saddened by the hentai hate. Yes, a lot of hentai out there is terrible, but read anything by Homunculus, Osuzu Akiomi, Yuuki Homura, or anything else from the handful of GOOD vanilla mangaka out there and you'll see why there's such a love for the genre.
