So, I kinda forget what it is and I might got some part wrong but this is how I remember it...
The setting is long time ago in somewhere in the Asian countries. I think it in Taiwan or China. But anyway, the main character is a girl that lived in a rich household. She was so fortuned that when she met a fortue teller with her mom, the fortune teller told that she had to marry a ugly man to stay fortuned. From that day on, her parent keep arranging marriage with the main girl and really ugly guys. But the main girl kept refusing and end up making a bet with her father that she can pick any guy out from the street and he will be much better. But at the end, she was pregnant with her husband who is handsome and the husband left her to a war. I think there is a second where she went out to find her husband because she doesn't believe he was died.
I think I ever read this manwha! (A long time ago) I also not remember this title because I only read pictures only (Cauz it is interesting XD) I hope that I could remember back once again... LOL (T_T)
The second half of your description sounds exactly like Mademoiselle Butterfly, but unfortunately that is not a manhwa, but rather a manga series. It is historical, set in world war two and is about a geisha in training who is being sold to be married/mistress of a client and so on...sorry I could not be much of help
