It has something to do with the poll, or how would I say, one of the biggest online publishers (Jmanga) is closing it's doors on the end of the month:

Well, I can guess the reason, their prices were way to high for just renting a manga volume (higher than purchasing it a paper version). Such a price were you can't even own thing were you pay for
It's much cheaper to just lent it in the public library (almost free, only a yearly price of $7.5-$10), the only disadvantage is the limited number of mangas in a library (except if you go to a manga library).

And the reason is likely not due to losses. Companies don't shut down so abruptly without collective bargaining with its customers first. I believe it's likely due to some sort of court order or other corporate complication.

I'm sorry about that, can an admin move it to the other thread?
But what is it doing in the section of Manga General? Isn't this supposed to be in annoucements or news?

It's not news directly related to the site, and user announcements is for introducing yourself and whatnot. Thus, news like this falls under Manga General. Or so I believe.
