Quick-paced manga

Member 12:08 am, Mar 20 2013 Posts: 57	NO ECCHI! NO YAOI! NO MANHWA! Well, rather than quick paced, I'd say it's more like I'm looking for something that can get me hooked quickly. I'm not very patient, so more than often, I don't bother reading through a full chapter if it can't grab my attention. Hmm... other than that, I do want some fantasy elements. It doesn't have to be the fantasy genre, just something that's not your everyday school life. Also, not really looking into horrors atm, looking for a bit of lighter read. One more thing, I do not count "One day, a regular high-school student blah blah blah, and now he has alien powers and needs to save the world" fantasy. That, is school life. A bit of a different version, but most the times even more boring. Also, I don't mind shounen-ai. Just don't want it going as far as detailed views of them doing sex. If they aren't sex-based yaois, most lighter shounen-ais are pretty good.

Not sure what you've read or not cause your lists aren't public so I'll just suggest a range of new and old and something's bound to get you hooked. No.6 7 Seeds Sengoku strays Ran to hiiro no sekai Jisatsutou Black cat...if i remember rightly...(read it ages ago.) Hunter x hunter Saiyuki Tokyo Crazy Paradise-has sci fi elements later on but mainly yakuza comedy Holyland Peacemaker Red river Shin Angyo Onshi-it'll start off and you'll think oh gawd another over-used cliche but don't skip ahead, stick with it cause it'll surprise you.
