Ok. So. These two childhood friends. A boy and a girl. The girl has always loved the boy. The boy gets a girlfriend and the girl is sad. There's a scene where they're going to a festival or something?

I remember this one scene where the girl is wearing a yukata and she kisses the boy and tells him she's always loved him. And he's blushing and something. And she accepts that he has someone else now instead of trying to seduce him and such.

So... yeah. I can't remember if there was another guy who liked the girl or anything.

I think I read something similar to what you're saying... In the opening, does the girl mention something about forgetting that she was at the same festival a long time ago... something to do with apples or (some kind of fruit on a kabob...) Gahhh... now I have to look for it!
