i read most of what you posted, but all the similar rec had already been given. sorry if they are not you taste!

Eden: It's an Endless World! about drugs and guns etc. i really love the art.

Freesia alternate universe where japan is in the midst of ww3. awesome sketching style art.

Bradherley no Basha i recommend you to read this after you had exhausted every other choice. this is very dark simply because it is very possible to happen.

Fire Candy this may be too racy but i freakishly love the expressiveness of the characters!

so, they are all completely scantalated, feel free to read. but yeah, as you think fma and the others are dark, these may be too much, but i assure you they are great!

thanxs everyone! I've already read Kuroshitsuji, love it and would also like to read something similar to that.( i forgot mention it in my first post)

i don't who it was, but someone said i should read...can't recall the name but i really did not like it. Just so that everyone knows, i don't really like nudity etc and most important, even if i did I'M UNDER AGE. I'm still in middle school. So it would really help if the mangas rec aren't really mostly about adult content.
Plez recomend some more. biggrin

Firstly I second shin angyo onshi, kaori yuki's works and pale horse for pc shounen/josei that are darker than average. Don't read fire candy if you're in middle school! lol.

These were the best I could think of for your age and tastes, they're mostly josei and either the atmophere is dark or there's key dark/tragic moments etc:
No.6-its the one closest to the sort of dark josei you seem to be after.
Kieli
Kagerou nostalgia
Kizu
Number
Zombie loan
Watashi no messiah sama
Donten ni warau
Peacemaker
E's
Tegami bachi-pretty dark, but id still put it as a light read.
Switch
Hunter x hunter-It gets progressively darker as it goes through the series.
Demon ororon-If you like the style, the Demon flowers by Hakase Mizuki is also amaze-balls but its advised as 16+ by tokyopop, rather than 13+ which is what demon ororon is so start with that.
Karneval-its not explicitly dark but it does have a dark/mysterious element to it.
7 seeds-has romance and a female lead in the beginning thats annoying, but it changes protagonist after a while and once it gets into the story its mostly about all the characters as a whole.
