Similar to the last poll, but now would you personally wanna go through a gender-swap experience (as described in some manga series)? This question was suggested by auriga and FormX. And if you're gonna post a comment, why or why not? And if it did happen, what kind of stuff would you do?
You can submit poll ideas here (and try to keep them manga/anime-related)

Question: Similar to a gender bender series, which would be harder to deal with if it happened in real life?
Choices:
Guy turning into a girl - votes: 9384 (71%)
Girl turning into a guy - votes: 3829 (29%)
There were 13213 total votes.
The poll ended: March 30th 2013
I think the only series I've read for a girl -> guy was 1/2 Prince. Every other series has it guy -> girl since I guess it's more interesting (and harder?)

Would I want the experience? Sure. Would I actually try it? Hell no. It's confusing enough being a woman, then to suddenly become a dude? I've had my fill of shit, thanks but no thanks.

Huh...interesting how the girl and guy answers are reversed. I guess people just like being male in general?

Let's assume you will eventually change back

Society still tends to favor male as the dominant gender while also probably the simplest to live as.
Of course, it could also mean women are more curious about being the opposite gender than men. I myself, male, am not interested in changing my gender regardless of how perfect the transformation is or how temporary it is, but that's just me.

I chose "I'm a guy, yes".
Why: Well curiosity and I have never been manly so I think It would probably be more fitting if I was female. At least becoming one would let me know if I was right or not.
What would I do: I'm not really sure. I would probably check out my new equipment and dress up in different outfits or something. Mostly just experience how the other half lives.

Then I'd say yes. A week (or year or whatever) in another's shoes would be more than healthy, but I'm not ready to start all over from scratch what I've spent the last 20 years trying to figure out.

Being a guy looks more popular (If you believe what the poll gives now).
Maybe it has something to do with the monthly problem that girls have.

I think it'd be fun to see what it's like, so yeah, out of curiosity I probably would XD

Never. Not even for a few minutes. I'm perfectly happy with the gender I was born into. Obviously, I'm fine with my originally having being born as a guy, but to become male after being female first (or vice versa)? No way. I can see why some people might consider it a thrilling (and enlightening?) experience - and I like unusual adventures as much as the next person - but that kind of adventure can remain firmly in fictionland as far as I'm concerned.
Tl; dr: I am a girl. I choose 'no.'

i chose 'I'm a girl, yes'
well, i'm pretty curious what my looks as guy is so i chose that. besides that, i'm constantly told that i'm not girly at all, becoz of my habits that are similar to guys (gaming, gore things, insensitive, mystery, actions, never bothered with make up, etc). hell, i'm also constantly mistaken as a guy in online forums, people are always shocked when i say that i'm a girl. though fortunately, it never happens in the real life.
if it's temporary i think it'll be fine, but if it's permanent.......it'll cause problems. as far i know, i like guys and i don't intend to change my preference. if i'm a guy, i'll be a gay one. and that's a huge problem.

As a transgender individual I find myself highly uncertain of how exactly I should vote, if any of the options even fit.

'Course they fit. Pick the "yes" option for the gender you were born with.
I voted "I'm a guy, no". Curiosity aside, a gender is much more than body. Men and women think differently, feel differently, care about different things and (re)act differently. Sure, there are people who have problems with identifying with their gender and sure, it all depends on an individual (temperament, experiences and much more) but still. There is a reason why I was born a man and it's not my thing to decide - it's my thing to accept and make the best of.
Not to mention it's better to be a man, seeing as we can marry women.
