hmmm, a foreboding chapter I guess..... the Marine's are preparing and so are the others, but the new rookie Bartolomio to trash a Vice admiral of the Marine's like that, I wonder who he is.... Maybe the first mate of Kaido who came to check on Mingo and the others or smt like that...

Great and informative chapter. Too much stuff to mention. Biggest reveal was that blind guy was fujitora. Very interesting. So far though all the vice admirals of the present are pretty bad so im not too concerned about some rookie beating him. He's probably going to win group b though. I doubt there is only four finalists, burgess, bartolmeo, luffy, and rebecca because that's a pretty tournament then... Hopefully at least 16. A good four round tournameqnt might be nice. But the fact that rebecca is in group d and luffy in c would make them fight early on...

Honestly speaking this was a dull chapter. That blind guy being Fujitora wasn't surprising see the foreshadowings we got.

hmmm, tbh I doubt anyone in a VA position is weak at all, not to be trashed like that by a rookie, and as for the fairies I still have a feeling it's Absalom. As for the tournament it's probably going to be the 4 group winners vs the 4 from the Mingo family that were introduced in ch 702 and the winner gets to fight Diamante in the finals or smt like that. Btw if it's gonna be Luffy, Champion and the rookie in the first 3 don't you think Rebecca who had trouble with Spartan will have a hard time?? Anyways knew that the blind guy was Fujitora for a while now, no Oh My God!! moment there, but thankfully for the Sh he isn't after them since as he said it would be bad for them as I see them not yet strong enough to go against one.

I agree with the VA comment, after all Garp is a VA as well, that is if he's still in the Marines.

@kiks it actually would make sens if the "fairy" was abasalom. But i'm pretty sure it was fairies....so how does that work? And VAs don't suck, they just usually aren't strong enough to make any sort of lasting impact on any of the rookies. But back then, kuzan and sakazuki were VAs and they were amazing. In the whitebeard battle, not a single va had a logia and after the time skip, so far only smoker has a logia. Non of the VAs just stood out like the admirals do, that's all.

The rebecca thing...maybe hard time meant that she couldn't legally beat him up since they were never in the same block? She has to have some power if she's eventually joining the crew(i think oda confirmed a female for the next crew member, not sure though) i doubt they will go through another time skip for her...

Remember that Garp have been offered the admiral position multiple times, he have even had the chance to become fleet admiral, that ain't something that every VA can be. So using Garp as an example for an VA is a really bad idea.

I must say, I like where this is heading. A few big names will make for some interesting fights. Hopefully.
