just wondering if someone could tell me if Eden no Hana has an ending? I know that the series stopped publication because of plagarism, but I'm wondering if someone can confirm whether this was after the series properly ended.

I guess so? i dont think it mentions anywhere that it dident get finished off only that they cancalled the licensing or it over to Tokyopop (shame...) i mean... in the profile it does say ''2002'' which from experience means when it ended.

Plus theres no way that date is the start of it because theres 12 volumes and 2002 wasent that long ago... most certanley under 12 years so i guess so?

I dont know myself but indications say that it does have a ending.

I sure hope it does.... i really do.... its to fantastic to not have a ending, im fine without it being licensed but to have no ending is just.... bad.. specially on a cliffie.

The Manga was finished with 12 volumes in 2004. The plagiarism incident was in 2005 but all her older works were taken from the market as well.

Btw, the RAWs are still floading around the net (all volumes).

sorry, I dont understand- its ok, I dont need details, last I remember
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Sister's clinginess to her newfound brother blows the boyfriend but the last chapter that was scanlated shows she kisses her boyfriend on the pool or rather in the pool while big brother is contemplating about something in the verandah or balcony of his hotel room so does she split wth her boyfriend and re-unite with him later? In that case, its ok if u dont remember, what happens to the big brother?
Thanks for answering me though...

yatta! found the raws, but went through only the 12th vol since the language barrier would prevent me from understandng the drama thus found out just by looking..
Spoiler (highlight to view)
most probably the "brother" is not blood related since they do formally get married...ex-boyfriend-with glasses seems to be brother's ex-girlfriend's (remember the rich crazy one) friend/boyfriend
..i hope ths answers all biggrin

Thank you very much! I've been wondering how it would end for years now. And I'm glad it had an end. I'm not sure if i liked the end, but that was to be expected.
Anyway, thank you for your help! *hugs*

Okay, here's a basic outline of what happens through volume 11

Spoiler (highlight to view)
Midori and Hashiba become closer and Tokio's ex-girlfriend becomes clingier. Tokio's "uncle" tells Tokio that if he doesn't finish this major project, he has to return to America. So Tokio has to start working long hours, pulling all-nighters, etc. Midori is sad because she doesn't get to see him very much anymore.

Then the ex-girlfriend decides to move in with Midori and Tokio so that Tokio would be able to return to America without having to worry about someone taking care of his sister. At first, Midori says no way is she going to let the ex stay with them, but then the ex tells her that she and Tokio aren't real siblings. After that, she's scared to live in the house alone with him, because of her past with her other fake brother, so she tells the ex she can stay.

Stuff happens. Eventually, the ex moves out again, returning to America. Midori is still going out with Hashiba, but he asks her one day if she's in love with Tokio and she realizes she is, so they break up.

She plans to tell Tokio they aren't siblings, and confess to him, but he has a business trip to San Francisco that he has to go on, so she doesn't get the chance. While he's away, his "uncle" and his ex tell him that he has to get engaged to his ex or else they'll tell Midori "the truth". For some reason this really scares him. When he comes home, Midori is excited because she is going to tell him she loves him, but then he tells her he's engaged and she's crushed. The ex moves back in, this time as his fiancee.

More stuff happens. It's Midori's 16th birthday, and Tokio tells her to meet him in the Tokyo Tower. She does, and he says happy birthday and shows her the project he's been working on at work: a huge flat screen to stand on top of this building that faces the Tokyo Tower. As she's looking at the flat screen, it suddenly changes so that there is a picture of Midori and a sign that says happy birthday.

Midori is really happy. Tokio asks her about Hashiba and she says they broke up. He asks why, and she tells him it's because she's in love with him. She says they aren't really blood related. He just sort of stares at her. Then he gets this urgent call, so he has to leave without giving a response.

The next day, she tells Hashiba that she confessed to Tokio and he hasn't responded. She said she told him they weren't siblings. Hashiba says that he thinks Tokio has known that all along.

Later that day, Tokio tells her he can't be with her, that he has to be with the ex. He tells her he is returning to America, and he has signed her up to go to this boarding school so that she won't have to live alone. He takes her to the train station to take her to the school, but she says she won't get on. She says she's leaving for good, because she can't bear to be around him when she can't have him. He tells her not to leave, and he says he'll tell her everything. They get on the train together.

While they are on the train, Tokio tells her that the real reason he wants her to go to boarding school, is because the man who was responsible for the deaths of their parents (his dad, her mom) just got out of jail, and he's afraid he'll come after her, because he knows where they've been living. Then he tells her he loves her, and they make out on the train.

When they get back, he breaks up with the ex. She's really upset, and one night, when he's at work, she tells Midori to give Tokio back to her. Midori says no way. The ex says how can she be so selfish, when it was Midori who set the fire that killed her and Tokio's parents in the first place. Midori is shocked, because she has no memories of what happened, and had no idea that she was the one who started the fire. She leaves the apartment and starts walking, when this guy comes out of no where and kidnaps her. He ties her up and locks her up in this building, but while he's gone, she's able to break free and call Tokio. Tokio hurries to go get her.

Meanwhile, the man tells her that he's actually her father. What happened is that he was abusive, so her mother took Midori and left him. She later got remarried to Tokio's dad, but Midori's father was really jealous, so he told Midori, who was three, that if she started a fire her brother would come back to her (at the time, Midori was having a hard time finding her brother-he was at like a friend's house or something). So Midori lit the fire. Tokio has known all of this the whole time.

Tokio comes to rescue her, and almost kills Midori's father out of fury, but he manages to stop himself. However, Midori's dad does what Tokio couldn't. He commits suicide by setting himself on fire right in front of Midori's eyes. She goes into a state of shock, but Tokio manages to pull her out of the building. She blacks out, and when she wakes up, she's in a hospital. There's actually not much damage done to her, so they release her right away, but Tokio wasn't so lucky. Some blood vessels or something broke in his eye, and now he can't see out of it. If it continues, he'll lose his eye for good.

There is a surgery that he can get, but his uncle tells Midori that he'll give Tokio the surgery on the sole condition that she leave him for good. Midori doesn't think she could live with herself if she let Tokio lose his eye because of her, so when he comes to see her, she kisses him and tells him goodbye for good.

That's as much as is scanlated in English so far. There is one more volume to go.
