The editors of Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine announced on Monday that Caterpillar manga artist Isuka Hakozaki passed away suddenly. He was 27.

Hakozaki was born in Minamishimabara City in Nagasaki Prefecture and was living in nearby Isahaya City at the time of his passing. He had only just started Caterpillar as his first manga series in March of 2012. With the abrupt end of the action manga, Caterpillar story creator Shinya Murata will publish a message in the next issue of Young Gangan on May 2. -manga-artist-isuka-hakozaki-passes-away-at-27
