I guess it gives off an romeo/juliet vibe, but I think it would appear like that if both characters in the manga knew their own predicament.

Also I think it is safe to say that the guy was an antagonist, as his first priority was dominance over the others and the female protagonist wanted revenge (and I guess to rescue her people against the guy). Also from what I've read from the series, he pretty much destroy a lot of people who got in his way.
I think it fits what the person wanted as the guy only treated the girl nicely. In fact, I think its safe to say that she altered him a lot in most of the decisions he made in the manga (even though they didn't know each others identity).
All in all, I think its a pretty good manga.
But if it makes you happy to win on the internet, have at it.
