There is probably something wrong with me. I like System of Romance I have no idea why, but I like it. I've looked around in the 'serial killer' category, but I can't find anything I like so I'm asking. Please no yaoi or heavy tragedy. I've read Goth it was good, but I like System better.

Sakura no Ichiban! - several of the arcs focus on serial killers, IIRC, although they are not the protagonist (not sure if that's what you were looking for).

If what you mean by "serial killer" is someone that kill many people regardless he want it or not, I can suggest many, but if you mean by serial killer are some psycho with some screws loose on the head that kill like a hobby, here you go:

Boys next door is really good and has a very dark, creepy atmosphere, has suggestions of boyxboy but its not even enough to be called shounen ai to be honest (hence why its both shoujo and shounen ai lol) and it only serves to make it more creepy...

I'm so glad someone made this topic. I've always really loved System of Romance and wished I could read similar, I found it oddly romantic. The closest thing that comes to mind is a short manga Enjokousai Bokumetsu Undou where the couple tortures pedophiles and tries to kill a guy together.

No, not quite. the urban legend is that a creature called the 'Rail Tracer' consumes those who board without a ticket (iirc, it's been 1.5 years since i watched that part).

I know this should be about manga series, but I just can't help but recommend the TV series "Dexter". It's about a serial killer's point of view ^^
