I've already read My Name is Zushio and Obaka-chan, Koigatariki and I was thinking I'd like something along those lines, something in between. It doesn't need to make sense, I'd just like to read something funny that will lift my spirits.
If you have any ideas and could suggest some manga for me, that would be great. My favorite art style would be something like Boku wa Ookami, but the art isn't that important, just a plus. I would like the more modern styles of art if possible though, please, and thank you in advance. ^_^

Whenever I want anything funny, I always go for webtoons
Try The devil king is bored,Welcome to the convenience store
There are also a few EXCELLENT comedy manga that left me in pain because I laughed too hard, but they were all shonen with "adult" humour
If you're okay with adult humor, shonen and bad puns go forGIntama
Won't recommend the overly adult ones
these are okay-ish: Yandere Kanojo and Working!! (4koma)
Nisekoi will also lift your spirits (If you're okay with harem) (not overly harem, btw)

Avian3 -- Thank you, I will definitely add some of those to my wish list, hopefully I can read them all soon.
AmDnim -- I haven't really tried tried webtoons before, I'm mostly just looking for manga, as at this point I'm still only half sure about what webtoons actually are. But I will look at the manga you recommended. Thank you. ^_^

I ts webtoons so I'll tell you what they are
Webtoons are korean manhwa, they are read left to right (normal english style) and they are long strip format
That means every chapter in a webtoon is one loooong strip (no pages, just one page)
And they are fully coloured
They are digital arts (not made on pen and paper) and are uploaded on sites, where people can read them
Thus they are high quality
They are available online in korean and they are downloaded and released by scanlators in English (mostly with the author's consent)
The devil king is bored was my first webtoon and I immediately fell in love, so whenever you start webtoons do try this early on
BTW when you read webtoons, read them on scanlator sites, coz manga reader sites break them into pages and then the point is kinda lost

Ah, I will definitely check it out then. If you say they're that good, I'd be happy to try it.

Something funny, huh? Try Angel Densetsu. I'm reading it currently and its hell awesome. Epic shit. Beelzebub and Boku to Issho are bat shit hilarious as well. Other than that, there's National Quiz and Welcome to the NHK as some situational comedy. Welcome to nhk is mature. Deals with the phenomenon of a hikkikomori. You'll love it.

I had begun reading Angel Densetsu and will continue, hopefully. ^_^
I started Beelzebub the anime but have not finished it yet. Boku to Issho I began but decided not to finish. Thank you for your suggestions!

Have you tried Oresama Teacher by TSUBAKI Izumi? It's an awesome gag manga with a premise similar to Obaka-chan, Koigatariki.
No manga made me laugh as hard as YAMASHITA Tomoko's Don't Cry, Girl. The heroine's environment is incredibly quirky which highlights her grounded reactions to the point of absurdity.
Furou Kyoudai by SHIWASU Yuki takes a joking look on horror and twincest manga. It hit my sense of humour perfectly.
NAKAHARA Aya's Nanaco Robin is a short and light romantic comedy by the mangaka of Lovely Complex.
I found Megane-chan by WATASHIYA Kaworu to be adorably amusing.
KAWAHARA Kazune's Koukou Debut provides you with a fast and funny romance.
The original Doujinshi Danshi Toilet de Machiawase by MIZU Asato, the author of Denkigai no Honya-san, plays your girl-meets-boy situation in a slightly unusual way.
There's also this strange and merry story on a female dog who falls in love with a human: Guru Guru Pon-chan by IKEZAWA Satomi.
If you want an entertaining and diverting series, look for Toradora! by TAKEMIYA Yuyuko/ ZEKKYOU. Taiga's and Ryuuji's daily bickering often made my day.
Despite being a dark mecha series, GATOU Shouji's famous Full Metal Panic! with illustrations by TATEO Retsu has its comical moments. Although I like its anime spin-off Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu! better.
The way to a girl's heart is through her stomach. The protagonist in WAKAI Ken's Boku wa Hajikko ga Suki comes to appreciate this saying as he embarks on a romantic (?) relationship with a glutton. Comedy ensues.
Usotsuki Lily by KOMURA Ayumi is a gag manga to the core. I find it hilarious how Komura-sensei breaks the fourth wall all the time.
From all romantic comedies, I particularly enjoyed MATSUMOTO Tomoki's humorous, yet sensitive take on sexual identity and orientation in his manga Prunus Girl. Give it a try.

- Otoyomegatari by MORI Kaoru
- Gangsta. by Kohske
- Seishun Kouryakuhon by AKIZUKI Sorata

Thanks guys. I've got a much bigger wish list by now and have begun promptly plowing through manga. I really needed a laugh, so thanks again. ^_^
