I'm looking for TV series/shows with vampires or werewolves. The problem is that I'm quite picky. I prefer a male main character and I prefer him to be the one with the vampire or werewolf thing. I love it when they struggle to control their power. I don't care if it has romance in it or not. Genre doesn't really mater. I know it's not an easy question but I'm so bored and I really need something new to watch!

I've watched Vampire Diaries (waiting for the new season) and Teen Wolf (also waiting). I tried watching True Blood but I don't really like it. I don't like really old shows either. Told you, I'm picky. Is there anyone who can help me? Please?

More seriously, there was a one season show called Moonlight that had a non-pansy male lead who is a vampire.

The definition of "really old" is kinda subjective, so you may or may not want to check out Forever Knight, another show with a vampire MC.
