can anyone suggest a heartwrenching manga that could really crush your soul and pierce through your heart right to its very core? something that could make you pound your fist on the keyboard continuously while wailing, "wai? wai? waaai?" to the screen. most likely it won't have a happy ending or somebody dies in the end or gets cheated on or usually it's one of those war stories, anyhooo

let it have romance on the tags and a big fat bonus point if it's yaoi.

EDIT: oh and nothing robotic cloning alien stuff. time travel and cats turning into humans are okay though.

Oh you just opened pandoras box. No yaio though.

Ai-Ren as heart wrenching as it gets, but slow start keep reading it gets better and builds up to the ending.

Please Save My Earth very emotional, again slow start, but soon the plot becomes very rich. It has some gender bender of the yaoi kind though that area isn't elaborated upon.

sundome very perverted , but one of the most unique romance manga out there and Ofcourse it's tragic.

Hmm... how about these:
Nemureru Tsuki
Akaneshinchi Hanaya Sange
Both of them are yaoi

Second Please Save My Earth
Wolf Guy - Ookami no Monshou >> I kinda wanted to bang my head while reading this...
Saishuu Heiki Kanojo

Edit:
Welp forgot you don't want aliens.. although the aliens looks nothing robotic in Please Save my Earth...
anyway adding
Suna no Shiro
Wasurerarenai >> only a oneshot, but it makes my heart "hgghh".

Solanin by ASANO Inio
This couple's fate really tugged at my heartstrings.

Palmeros' Akazukin to Yasashii Ookami
Once you've come to understand this on-shot's plot, your crying heart will fill the voids the mangaka deliberately left behind.

Nakizakura Kitan by SAITOU Ken
One-shot about the cruelty of discrimination.

MIDORIKAWA Yuki's Hiiro no Isu left me with an inscrutable lump in my throat.

Shi ni Itaru Yamai by ASADA Hikari/ SEGUCHI Takahiro
Bittersweet adaption of Kierkegaard's "Sickness Unto Death" against a psychological background.

The current development of Sankarea by HATTORI Mitsuru makes me want to shout "NO!". Hopefully, it won't end this way.

YOSHIDA Motoi's Natsu no Zenjitsu feels like the couple won't have a future. This story's sense of evanescence makes the atmosphere feel as thick as if it were already thickened with the tears yet to be shed.

I second Tada, Kimi o Aishiteru and Ai-Ren.
