I know this is an odd question, but I want to learn more about the manga industry. I noticed many people pay attention to "JUMP Weekly" a lot, Mainly cause of Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, etc, I want to focus on other manga magazines and read what huge hit series they sold over the years.
Here are the manga magazine I want to learn more about:

-Shounen Gangan
-Young GanGan
-Ultra Jump
-Weekly Young Jump
-Young Sunday
-Young Magazine
-Weekly Shonen Magazine
-Shounen Sunday
-Big Comic Spirits
-Jump SQ
-Weekly Shōnen Champion
-Young Ace
-Shounen A
-Morning magazine

Now for what type of series I like to read:
-Action/adventure
-Slice of life
-Mystery
-Psychological
-Fantasy
-Supernatural
-Old school 80s and 90s

Care to help me out?

Both good for adventure/mystery
Elfen Lied was on Weekly Young Jump.
Vampire Juujikai was on Shounen GanGan.

GTO was on Weekly Shōnen Champion. Don't know if we can call it old school 90's...

On Big Comic Spirits there were a few of Urasawa Naoki manga (I believe 20th, Happy!, Yawara and Master Keaton, not totally sure though). Also D-Ash should fit.

And one of my favorite slice of life was Mahoraba, which was on Gangan Wing. You didn't mentioned it but you mentioned other Gangan so I thought it was worth mentioning.

One of the most prolific and popular Shounen Sunday authors appears to be Mitsuru Adachi. Adachi's speciality is sports mixed with school comedy though, I'm not sure if his manga fits your tastes. Anyway, the '80s series Touch is considered to be the creator's most famous work. Also Rough, H2, Katsu!, Cross Game and a couple of his shorter series are completely translated.

Sorry, I'm trying my best to avoid WSJ series for the time being.

In his defense, Medaka Box is a little different to most series. It's written by NisioisiN.
In his prosecution: Read the OP.
Kyou kara Ore wa!!
Really you should check out all of his stuff. The guy is hilarious.

Shounen Gangan and Gangan online:
Zetsuen no Tempest (nearly completing) and Spiral
Daily Lives of High School Boys (I feel its popularity set the ground for some later SOL shounen manga by this publisher)

Morning: ES, Haruka 17, Hatsukanezumi no Jikan, Hataraki Man, Psycho Doctor Kai Kyousuke. Some of them might not be scanlated but were adapted to live action TV dramas/movies.

Big Comic Spirits: 20 Seiki Shounen, Bambino!, Homunculus, Maison Ikkoku.

Young Ace: Usotsuki Mi-kun to Kowareta Ma-chan: Totteoki no Uso, Another

Weekly Young Jump: B Gata H Kei, Blue Heaven, Girl Friend, Shikeishuu 042, Skyhigh series.
