Pretty much what little consumption I do now is on a tablet.

My laptops have been convertible tablets for going on 8 years now, so I kind of have a best of both worlds thing going on. I prefer volumes, but only buy those in somewhat limited quantities.

Desktop Computer for me.
Sometimes when I'm not at home and I want to read new released, I use my smartphone.

Tablet for me now.
Good old fashioned paper used to be my fave, but since I have eye problems, my tablet really saved me. Pinch & zoom.

And my desktop computer is really to big to carry around. wink

I need to read more manga...

Lately, the only things I've been reading are highlights of manga I physically own, or nothing at all. I own a pretty decent collection, and some of it I've yet to read, but still...

...

haaaaaaaaaaaa... I dunno... I guess I got a little burnt out. I've been really itchin' to get back into it latley, but it seems like such a chore to retrack what I was reading and search for what I've missed that it's almost a little overwhelming. Like a wall I have to find the guts to climb, while telling myself, "It'll always be there; no rush."

And yet, the wall keeps getting bigger and bigger, while my eagerness to climb it gets smaller and smaller.

Ah, well. Life happens, I suppose. I'll get back into it here soon, though. Probably.

[Edit]

Mmm, but to answer the poll, I guess I read manga mostly on my PC. For light novels, I tend to read them on my phone - or, if I'm feeling frisky, I'll format them to work with my old Sony e-reader.

I agree, a more informative question would have been "How would you prefer to read your manga if money wasn't an issue?" But maybe they'll follow up on this one like they did with some of the other polls lately?

We already did that before. I mentioned that in my post

I mostly read manga on computers and tablets and only buy the actual manga when I really like them because acquiring the actual manga takes a lot of work. I have to order them from abroad (mostly, US) and have them shipped and the shipping cost is expensive. cry

I read manga (etc.) on a laptop almost all the time,
since it gets kinda irritating when both my elder siblings keep chattering on about the fact that they reckon manga is lame (That's just their opinion though...) every time i read manga on my family's desktop computer.
I also like to read on a laptop because then, I can sit on the couch or on my bed, since i'm actually kinda lazy.
It's also easier to use headphones on a laptop, since i listen to music (on the laptop) while I read manga.
got many other reasons...can't be bothered remembering

I usually read manga on my laptop, but sometimes I don't feel like getting out of my bed and just read on my iPod touch. It happens more often than I like to admit...

I have a Kindle Paperwhite (previously used Kindle 3 a.k.a Kindle Keyboard) and I use a converter called Chain LP. Possibly the best way in my opinion to read manga on a portable device since it causes no eye strains unlike tablets and laptops. biggrin

iPad mini or actual books here. Can't imagine having to go back to desktop reading.

I read manga mostly on my phone. I have a Note II so the screen is big enough and it's more convenient for me. I rarely open my laptop and I don't really read manga on it when I do but I do buy printed volumes. However the mount of manga I buy is nowhere near the amount of manga I read on my phone.
