The whole "accidentally calling your teacher 'mom' during class" (happens a lot in both reality and fiction, apparently) thing has got me thinking. What if the teacher actually was one of the students' mom?

Any manga where the teacher is one of the characters' mom/dad/brother/sister/uncle/aunt/cousin/etc.? Preferably not spouses, because I'm kind of getting tired of that one. Would prefer comedy, but let's see if what I'm looking for even exists at all.

Sugar Family

not sure if it's what you're searching for, but here the teacher is her stepbrother and I think that it's quite amusing character. Sensei is just a hopeless case biggrin

I can't think of any at the moment but I have called a teacher mom in class quite a few times (it was incredibly embarrassing)... Also I do kids who've had parents as teachers in my school--
If it can happen in reality, I wouldn't be surprised to find it in a manga.
Oh wait... I remember Seto no Hanayome had a bit of that going on (at least in the anime)

It seems unlikely that the school district is dumb enough to put the kid in the class where the relative is, because, y'know, curved grades and all that. It would happen very rarely in reality, but it's not an issue in manga.

I know what you mean! There were a bunch of people who had teachers as parents at our school, some of them evem got into the same profession later and came back to our school as teachers in training.
On the other hand, there were teachers who were openly nicknamed "Mom" or "Dad". One of them accepted the title and henceforth signed his e-mails with "Daddy ________" smile

In YAMADA Nanpei's Orange Chocolate, I encountered a student-teacher combination where the older brother was a teacher and the younger one his student. Needless to say that the teacher had a huge brother complex.

Sekai no Hate

Don't want to spoil it... but I *do* believe there was a relationship. It's just... I can't remember where I read it, so can't confirm. The scans haven't gone far enough.

Schoolmate was the first one that came to mind.
