I'm looking for an action/romance manga with no harem stuff, but powers or something like that with a strong/confident male lead.

Other manga's/anime's i've seen include Sword Art Online, The Breaker/New Waves, King Of Hell (although iffy with the romance) and honestly a cartoon called American Dragon which actually had pretty good plot twists and funny and interesting characters.

EDIT:Should've said earlier but no Shoujo/Josei/Shounen Ai

You didn't specify shoujo/shounen/seinen etc., but based on what you've read in the past these may or may not be up your allie.

Dance in the Vampire Bund
Basara
Saver
Hakuouki
Ao no Fuuin

Absolutely Flame of Recca. The main character becomes smitten with a girl he meets and decides to become her servant. She is utterly charmed by this, and really the whole series whenever they talk to each other it's all sweet and cutesy. Recca has fire powers and stuff and "Hime" has healing powers. There are also those two secondary-main characters with the dumb musclehead crushing on the spunky girl.

But this is 100% shounen battle manga all the same! It's a miracle! Like, I'm recommending this because you want a shounen-ish manga with romance. I would recommend this even if you just said you wanted one or the other. UNFORTUNATELY there's no closure until the very very end but even still the relationships are growing through the whole series.

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi

One of the best martial arts manga. Ever. Look at the user ratings and reviews.

The main character Kenichi starts off weak but gradually gets stronger after meeting and falling in love with a new transfer student. After the first volume, you will meet the superhuman masters. Read it now!

There's also an anime of this too that follows the manga exactly. It's 50 episodes long, but all the best and crazy stuff happens in the manga after the anime is over.

Still questioning when this manga will end. The author could've wrapped it up around chapter 150 and started a new series, but he just added 400 chapters (and counting) of fillers...

To OP: Also try Ga-Rei

Double Arts is good too, but the romance is only hinted at since of the axed ending.

I definitely second Double Arts, I wish it had not been axed. Other suggestions would be
Witchcraft Works Starts off like most other manga of this sort, male lead discovers something sealed inside of him, hot girl is then assigned to protect him, but the latest chapters show some movement in a non-cliche direction.
Ga-rei though it is a bit long around 52 chapters.
Negative Happy Chain Saw Edge Probably one of the most under rated manga I have read.
Psycho Staff is also good, it short, funny, but does not have too much romance.
Finally for two of my favorite series,
Superior Demon queen goes undercover to gain the hero's trust and kill him soon after, however not all goes according to plan, need I say more? This manga is in the perspective of the female lead, but it is still worth it.
Psyren This is one of my absolute favorites, its long, around 140 some chapters, but I read all of it in one sitting because I just could not bear to look away. There is only a little romance at the end, but the story is still quite amazing.
Hope this helps biggrin
