Anyone got some kind of idea how I could sort my completed list. Was going to recommend some mangas to a friend of mine whose is somwhat similar to mine and was gonna tell him to take a look at my lists... That when I realized what a complete mess it is. Not gonna bother with my wishlist since I kinda use that just a substitute for a crapload of browser bookmarks.

I keep a separate list for every list I have at MU where I sort manga by personal categories and preference/ rating. It helps me a lot to prevent confusion. So whenever I want to recommend something, I simply browse my lists for certain categories. Maybe you could try it, too, starting with the series that you still remember without checking.

Oh, remembering is not a problem since I written down EVERY manga I've read so far (H-manga not included). I'm funny that way. biggrin Only thing is I've written 'em down in the order I read them... So the mess is there on paper too... Oh well I guess there is no shortcuts when it comes to this. (This might actually take a while)

If you already have a list, then everything's fine, isn't it? My list also started off in the order I read manga, and I didn't change it that much. Just start with rating your titles by colouring them in differently (e.g. green = good, yellow = okay, red = bad) and then you may sort them out or you just leave them, whichever you're more comfortable with. While doing that or after you're finished, categorise each series - a few poignant adjectives should be enough to characterise them. And tadaa! Your new, better structured list is done.

I just separate it into a general Complete List and a Favourites list, the ones in Favourites being ones I would be likely to read again. Also, pretty much all of those I've rated, so even though I have the memory of a goldfish when it comes to remembering what a manga was about/it's name, I have some sort of indication of how much I liked it... Other than those titles, everything else goes into my general Complete list, which is pretty much a mess too x)
