I'm looking for new manga to read. I really like supernatural and slice of life (school life is fine too). I'm searching for something like... supernatural being's daily life or human that involved with supernatural things. Demons, youkai, witch, supernatural powers, aaaaanything. Shoujo or shounen is fine, gag manga is highly recommended. Romance as long as not shounen-ai, shoujo-ai, yaoi and yuri is fine.

Some examples:
Kamisama Hajimemashita
Saiki Kusuo no PSI Nan
Satou-kun no Juunan Seikatsu
Makai Ouji - Devils and Realist
Natsume Yuujinchou
The Devil King is Bored
etc.

Ha! Some of my favourite manga fall into this category.

Starting with the best: Blood Alone by TAKANO Masayuki
The partnership between a detective/ novelist and a young vampire girl. No matter what, this gift of a manga balances all of its elements well - be it (murder) mystery, subtle romance, an elaborate concept on vampires, harmonious everyday (or should I say everynight) life or past occurrences rich in foreshadowing. The art is calm but TAKANO Masayuki-sensei's paneling makes the scenes flow in a unique way. Don't miss this beautiful story!

A distinctively different title is Itoshi no Kana by TANAKA Yutaka who has proven his talent for atmospheric musings on life and death. This manga is no exception. The protagonist moves into an apartment with a ghost girl who committed suicide in the same room years ago. Only through their budding love, he comes to understand the true value of living. Peaceful, tastefully ecchi and heavy on the slice of life note.

Somehow, all supernatural slice of life series seem to enjoy playing with the readers' feelings. KIM Yong-Hwan's Wake Up Deadman proves the rule. An interesting combination of hyped up comedy and the stark reality of an undead existence. A great manhwa.

DOUMAN Seiman provided us with strangest blend of genres and themes when he decided to create The Voynich Hotel. Full of quirky personalities and cultural references, it bounces between dark, humorous, touching, adorable, sad, confusing and simply odd. I still don't know what to think about this series except that it's too entertaining to stop reading.
