Some things, if I really like them....

I've read..

Claymore x5
BioMeat: Nectar x4
Jisatsu Circle x2
Uzumaki x2
Parasyte x3
Hikaru No Go x3
Death Note x2
666Satan x2

so yeah. These aren't based on how well I liked them, you know. But sometimes there are parts so awesome I just have to re-read the entire thing again so I can process all the awesome ness properly. =DDD Or I just read them once, like, two years ago, and thought, "I really liked this", so then I read them again. Or it could also be the case in which there are so many plot twists I have to read them again.

The only time I reread any series is if a new volume comes out and I don't remember what last happened.

Of course, the only exception is if I'm EXTREMELY bored.

I'll reread if:
-when I get to the end, it becomes clear that there were things I didn't notice the first time I read it
-I'm bored and there isn't anything new to read
-I can't quite remember how something happened, what someone said, etc. and not being able to remember it bothers me
-I really enjoyed it the first time

I re-read a lot. After a couple weeks of not reading something details fade. I remember main events but the small things are hazy or forgotten. Then when I reread I'm like sweet I don't remember this part or I'd forgotten about this.

So yeah, bad long term memory unfortunately but it makes for endless reading material

I only reread if after a I stop understanding it. I've reread One Piece for this reason.

It's not like it's hard to understand but I've forgotten many parts after having not read it for a while. Especially going one chapter at a time waiting for the scanlation.

Hm...I only re-read if I actually bought the manga...Like Fruits Basket. =)

But re-reading online scans...I think the only one I thought was worthy enough was The Devil Ororon...

Well, as nice as it is to be able to remember a manga, if you've forgotten it you can enjoy the sucker again and still be surprised. My minds not at all photographic, but if I hear something I can always remember it (unfortunately, I do have to pay attention).

Oh, I forgot one other reason I reread - to decide if I want to keep it, or resell it (this is only for manga I've actually bought the real paper versions of, obviously).

Some, if I'm really bored, and others if I think a second read will give me additional insight in some way. I've read both 20th Century Boys and Monster twice for that reason, and I've read Evangelion a couple times simply because the mangaka is so slow -_-;;.

But sometimes I'll just get in the mood to read something again *shrug*. I think I've reread Love Hina before as well, it's just a mood thing.
