Well, long ago when I was still new to this mind-boggling concept of comics from japan (Manga) aimed at the young girl (shoujo) or young women (josei) audience I came across a manga that had a great impact on my life (it happens to us all). And like all teenagers I felt like I couldn't possibly forget the once life-altering manga... Hmm, after years expanding my palate of manga, and I can now only remember the bare details of this manga. If anyone would be so kind as to give me a helpful nudge in the right direction, I would very much appreciate the gesture.

Summery: Girl likes Guy (could be a tutor or older guy friend or penpal) and studies to get into a university. (Takes place in winter) Girl finds out she passed and meets Fake Guy at or around the billboard area where the results are. I think she mistakes Fake Guy as being the one she fell in love with, but he tells her that the Real Guy died (not sure how death occurred). The Real Guy told fake Guy to meet the girl there because he knew that the Fake Guy feel in love with the Girl when he saw her picture. Fake guy then goes on to tell Girl all about what was really going on with the Real Guy.

I'm not 100% with all the details, but I do know that Tragedy and either Shoujo or Josei where part of the labels. The manga itself wasn't very long either, no more than a volume and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a one-shot. Well I hope someone has read this manga before and it hasn't faded into obscurity.

I have no idea what year it came out in since it was more like five to six years for me since I last read it. I know that it wasn't a TeacherXStudent relationship. The scenes didn't take place at school that's why I thought maybe he was a tutor or penpal.
