What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

Hello all!

Turtle Paradise Scanlations is currently in serious need of some cleaners, typesetters, and proofreaders/QC (but mostly cleaners!) to work on some projects! User Posted Image Highest priority right now is cleaners!

Current Projects
★ Barajou no Kiss
★ Mebius Gear
★ Junketsu + Kareshi
★ Slayers: Super Explosive Demon Story
★ Super Darling! (low priority)
★ doujinshi for Final Fantasy VII, Slayers, and others
★ And the occasional oneshot.
(We are staying away from new projects until we get new staff or finish some current stuff)

We're able to work with all skill levels and can provide any fonts you need, too. Please drop a line here or PM me if you have any questions. Of course, you can also reach us in chat at our website, but it's best to leave a contact email if you go that way. You could also register for an account on the forum if you wanted to do that instead, too!

Shifting focus a little. Looking specifically for people interested in cleaning series like Junketsu + Kareshi. We can work with all skill levels, so let me know if you have any questions! There are a couple test pages on our forum, but the only thing we require is an attempt... just so we know what to help you with!
