Honestly, I'm sick of reading the same thing everytime I read manga. I've been doing it for a really long time and I've already read alot of the big name ones and I was wondering if I people could suggest not so main stream manga to me.

I really want the female lead characters to be either
-strong (mentally or physically, preferably both)
-intelligent (or at least has common sense and reasoning capabilities).
-I don't want them to be perfect, being flawed or cold is okay.
-They don't mind being comforted by the male MC.

I would like the male lead characters to be either
-Cool, but not a jerk or a playboy (preferably a guy who doesn't really care about much. Like Ran from Aoi Kiseki)
-Intelligent (just as smart or just a bit less)
-Strong (mentally and physically)
-Is gentle and caring and truly loves the female

I really want the main couple to genuinely care about each other and give off feelings of "Awww, I just wanna hug them.". A couple you feel is meant to be together. Some examples would be:
The MC's from Kanata Kara, Superior, Saver, Miriam, Aoi Kiseki, Ichigo no Gakkou, Hanatsuki Hime, Kare Kano, Taiyou No Ie, Fruits Basket, Crossroad. Etc. I want realistic characters, not garbage where the main female is a dolt and the guy is a jerk. I want heartwarming and sweet love. (Btw I love male characters with long hair) No yaoi, yuri, hentai, or harems. I don't really mind them but I'm not in the mood for them.

My personal suggestion for mentally strong female character is Six Half and pretty much most of IKETANI Rikako works.
