Is there a reason Outaishi wa Mujihi ni Ubawareru/The Ravishing of the Crown Prince manga has a separate series entry from the Feng Yu Jiu Tian manhua? I've flipped through the early pages of both, and they appear to be identical. If the former is just a Japanese translation of the latter, they should probably be merged. My gut instinct was just to submit a change request, but I figured I might as well ask people who are more familiar with the series first. So, are there any significant differences that would warrant the separate entries?

I want more information from anyone before I make any changes/deletions

Ehh!!? Is that true? I just finished read Feng Yu Jiu Tian 2 days ago but I haven't see Outaishi wa Mujihi ni Ubawareru because it is still raw and still selling online? I also searched in many websites.. First, i think this is different story and it still not scanlated? ?? Soon, I gave up in searching that manhua....

I think they should remain separate page entries because from what I gathered, although they are based off the same novel source, one is an Taiwan manhua adapation and the other is a Japanese manga adapation.

However, judging from SuBLime's page for the series here, only the Japanese manga was licensed in English. I can't find any evidence that the Taiwan manhua adapation was ever licensed.

Yes, but if you compare the scanlation of the Taiwan manhua to SuBLime's edition of the Japanese manga, they appear to be exactly the same content (at least for the few preview pages I could compare - I didn't buy it, so couldn't check it through to the end.) I'm wondering if what happened is that a Japanese magazine licensed the Taiwan version, then the same version got sub-licensed to SuBLime. I've been looking for someone who can confirm if that's what happened.

Here's Jennifer LeBlanc's explanation for why the second volume of FYJT hasn't been licensed and translated yet for SuBLime: "...I don't see the Japanese manga version released and that's the version we license. We have to wait for Japan to release its version. :-)"

oriana hit the nail on the head. The original source is the light novel by Feng Nong, and the Taiwanese/Chinese manhua is a collaboration between Feng Nong and Wang Yi. The Japanese do not have a separate version of FYJT manga, they have obviously licensed and translated the Chinese version into Japanese and that's the version that SuBLime uses. SuBLime doesn't directly translate from the original Chinese manhua. They have to wait for a Japanese version to be released before they can translate it to English.

I mean it's fairly obvious since the SuBLime version lists Feng Nong and Wang Yi as the original writer and artist. If there were a separate Japanese version, then there would be a different manga-ka attributed to the work. If you take a look at the SuBLime preview for the manga, it's page for page exactly the same as the manhua.

So it's redundant to have two listed separate pages for the manhua. There should be one page for the novel and another one for the manhua.

I have a copy of the sublime version I bought last week and it's exactly the same as the one listed on the manhua Feng Yu Jiu Tian page. The Ravishing of the Crown Prince/Outaishi wa Mujihi ni Ubawareru is Feng Yu Jiu Tian. There isn't a Japanese version, it's all from the same source - the Chinese/Taiwanese version from Feng Nong and Wang Yi. There shouldn't be two pages for it. Kinda upset that FYJT has two separate pages for the same work and the Warui series, which hosts four distinct, though loosely interconnected series, was pared down to just one page.
